So we're a couple years into the Wii life cycle! Everyone still having a good time? Well even if you aren't I bet you still have fond memories of the wonderful things Nintendo has done for you in the past. Why not share those? Maybe Ninty will check out some of the things we loved from the past and hurry to duplicate it! I'll start:

Thanksgiving 1994. Mike Tyson's Punch-out. A room full of cousins and siblings. One controller. Strung out on turkey and apple pie. Hyper as all hell. Soda Popinski.

Nuff said. How about yours?

I have lots, but for now this one springs to mind ...

Christmas 1989. Bionic Commando being played from unwrapping it in the morning through the afternoon and into the night when cousins come over for holiday festivities. Bionic Commando continues. At some point, the TV in the other room tells us Billy Martin (much beloved Yankee manager) died in a car crash. We are sad. But Bionic Commando continues. We were kids, after all.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.

To be honest most of mine are Sega related, but one particular Nintendo moment would be seeing the ending to Links Awakening for the first time, I seem to remember many games having pretty poor endings back then, but Links Awakening that ending completely amazed me, if you've seen you will know what I mean.

I can't think of my good (Super) Nintendo memories without thinking about Blockbuster. Ahh, I remember the good days when games were $3.75 to rent and I'd rent a game on Friday and play it until nearly 2 in the morning and then play all weekend. All the classics came out around that time.

Somebody set up us the bomb.

There's nothing wrong with SEGA memories! I have plenty of them, the Genesis was quite an awesome machine. My time with Phantasy Star was near religious.
