Wow, I didn't even know this topic existed. I thought I was alone in wanting games like StarFox 2 to come out. Besides SF2, Mother would be great, Ura Zelda, and I'd also appreciate an expanded Secret of Mana since I know they were originally planning it with the CD add-on. Its definitely a good idea in my opinion, they could have a different tag like when they have Import games except it could be "Revival" or something because cancelled would seem weird. I know we don't really have a vote, but sorry Tony, I'd rather see StarFox 2 come out before the first one.

Did whoever said Superman 64 2 mean Super Mario 64 2? The only one I think at this point is possible is Star Fox 2. Mother 1 should be, but I guess the EB music issue must be present too, or they'd have certainly at least released it in Japan by now.

The game was just days from getting released, but Nintendo of America pulled the plug on the game, thus causing nearly twenty years of pratical misery for the Mother fanbase. However, the game was completed and it was suppose to be improved from the Japanese version. Given that Nintendo still have the completed version of the North American Mother, they should be able to release the game on the Virtual Console with little problems, because it does not contain nearly as many problamatic simlarities in musics as it's successor.
If i remember correctly Star Fox 2 and Earthbound Zero even though they where cancelled they where at least completed so i won't be surprised if both where release on the VC, however Star Fox 2 does have a problem since Star Fox 64 reboot the franchise so it's story could either be altered or they will just turn into a completely new game with characters.

@superKsonic48: That became Conker's Bad Fur Day, which I would take over a generic cutesy platformer any day (Conker was originally going to be yet another "cute" platformer, much like Banjo Kazooie or DK64, but Rare feared it would be lost among other "cute" platformers, so they decided to make it freaking awesome)
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
How about Sonic 2 with Hidden Palace (and some of the extra Zones) put back in, like a 'directors cut'? I often wonder why SEGA dont do stuff like that - surely fans (old geezers like me) would go mad and download it instantly? I remember listening to the music in the soundtest back in '92 and all the rumours about how you could find the zone, which were sadly false. No internet back then so it was hard to find a definitive answer.
