id deffinitly say they couldnt of got much better then melee tbh. but i think that may be down with the fact that it was so hyped up compared to melee which ruined it for me. like it anoyed me a little that all the characters from melee wernt in brawl, like roy or mewtwo. and who thought of keeping the iceclimbers in if there getting ride of the characters like im sorry but who actually likes the iceclimbers? ive not meet anyone who does. Another thing that anoys me is what alot of people have said about the physics of things like running is deffinitly slower compared to melee and falling just throws ur timing off big time, the adventure mode is cool idea to start out with but is way to long winded i just get bored after half an hour cuz its just the same thing over and over but with different backgrounds. the online matches again is a very cool idea but a bit unfair for me cuz i have decent internet but theres a huge timing issue from when i make a move to it actually happening on screen. anywho i finish with saying melee rules and fox is the class A dude

Melee. It's as simple as that. Unless, your more of a person to want to play online matches something Brawl excels in obviously.

I agree with pretty much everything said here ^^
Brawl just moves way too slowly. All the characters are sluggish and tough to control. Toon Link is the only good thing about Brawl, and that's only because he feels like controlling Link used to feel in SSB/SSBM

SSB was never my thing. I bought brawl cos of the hype and thought 'what's the big deal?' Then I played Melee at a friend's house and thought 'ahh now I get it'...

Simply put: Melee plays better.

Hmmmm...I dunno...from a fairness standpoint - Melee
From a gameplay standpoint - Brawl (online is what makes it)
I say Melee is more fair (mostly) cuz there's just one way to control it...& to me it's easier to play w/ a gc controller BUT when you're playing w/ fundamentally different controls...
Screw this!

I H8 THE C-STICK SPAM OKAY!? THAT'S ALL I GET WHEN I PLAY BRAWL!
...sry, it's just that I think my friends would still play that game w/ me all the time if it weren't 4 the spam encouraged by the c-stick (I'M LOOKIN @ U FOX!!! stinkin cartwheelers...).
lol, I still think that Brawl's better imo

........goin 2 play right now come 2 think of it! 600 hrs. here I come!

Yeah both are cool, but im much better at Brawl than at Melee (and I don't have Brawl)

Man's worst enemy is laziness.

MetalMario

Melee is better gameplay wise. Brawl is awesome because of all the extra content.

Melee. Brawl has quite a few problems with it.
1. The physics are awful. You float through the air like a balloon, watching the occasional item fall down to the ground faster than you. Melee had it right by giving each character a different falling speed. If the giant gargantuan Bowser floats seemlessly to the ground at the same rate as Kirby, you know something is wrong.

If we're to get technical about physics, then Kirby and Bowser would fall to the ground at the same rate in real life. To quote Wikipedia "any and all objects, when dropped from the same height, will hit the ground at the same time."

But, everything doesn't fall at the same rate, pal. If you drop a brick and a feather from a building, the brick will hit the ground first. Same instance goes for Bowser and Kirby.
