It certainly is. After I played MGS4 I tracked down the previous three games and played them all within a month.
I was playing MGS on a loaned PS2 and didn't have a PS1 memory card, so I resolved to finish it all in one weekend without ever powering off. I got to the final fight and kept losing. Out of frustration I dropped my controller at the Game Over screen and hung my head down in shame, only to accidentally hit "No."
As in "No," do not continue.
...I don't think I've ever been more angry at a video game.
Fortunately I can now play it again with a save file. Thank you, PS3.
Wow, are you telling me you beat the torture scene in your first go!? Or did you go for the bad ending? =P
I just beat MGS, and I NEED to get the others ASAP.

I couldn't risk the torture scene in my circumstance. I went for the bad ending. I almost made it to the end of the torture, I think, but I understandably wussed out.
I'm getting online right now, but if we have more than four, I'll sit out. I have other games I could play anyway, so I won't mind. Not sure if we have four or five of us and too lazy to count.

Well, I forgot to add people tonight because nostalgia captured me! It's been over a year and I totally forgot about these awesome things, then I had to find the original files, and THEN update my card.
If anyone wants to use them, here's the original source for the .psd file and the sprites.
I've also uploaded a handy-dandy .zip file with all the sprites inside to make things easier! Perhaps this way we'll be able to keep track of our Friend Codes easier...or at least make it look nicer then just text.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot. I flipped the Link sprite because he was right-handed. WTF? It was bugging the crap out of me, so I stuck the Lefty version in with the .zip file. His sheath is on the wrong side, but at least he isn't holding his sword in the wrong hand. o_o
Great games guys! I think I've gotten pretty good with Snake. Grenades are the best things ever!
