Topic: Blaster Master Not Working Right

I just downloaded Blaster Master and am super excited to play it but it seems that there's something wrong with the install. I start the game and it goes right into a game right away and the tank is driving to the right, it doesn't let me go left, it has a mind of it's own! I've gone in and out of other channels and games with no problems so it's not my controller. I also just tried deleting the game and re-downloading it only to have the same issue again! Can anyone give me any direction or tell me where I can go for help!?! Thanks in advance!

That's weird. Were you maybe holding right on start up?

Nope, I've started it up several times now and it still does the same thing...

Have you tried rebooting it completely? Just reloading your save state obviously won't help.

I've tried restarting the game by pusihing the blue house button on the remote and going to reset. I've also tried shutting down the wii on the first install and shutting down the wii on the second install to no avail.

Is your controller acting up? If so, unplug and replug the controller again once.
But, if your controller is not acting up, then I've no idea what the problem is.
Of course, I almost always play VC games with the Classic Controller.

Try resetting the game. (Home button and then hit Reset).

How's about he try something he hasn't already tried?

Have you tried holding left on start-up?

I agree with Mic: how about trying something you haven't already tried, DKY?

Done the same thing to me. I just tried start, a or b, not sure which, but it took me to the start screen then.

SOLVED:
I feel like such an idiot. There was a DDR mat plugged into my gamecube controller port. I unplugged everything from the gamecube controller ports and the game works beautifully now. Thanks for the help all!

i must confess, i was dancing my heart out before playing blaster master... not lol I dunno, I thought that was just the regular start up screen. I may have been away from my wii for a second though. Who knows

Coulda just been the demo playing you said it went to the title menu when you pressed start, so it makes sense
