Actually the reason I bought it was because I liked the All Star versions better than the originals. I dont have a SNES right now and my copy of the SNES SMA is sitting in a storage shed. Right now this is cheaper and easier to find than a SNES to play these games.

So does that make me a fanboy? Not at all.

I have them in cartridge form, but cartridges last a lot longer than discs. I plan on downloading Crash 2, Crash 3, and the Spyro trilogy to our new PS3 since the original discs are probably all scratched up by now.

I downloaded Lost Levels, but I love how it's like SMB, only harder. I also like the classic graphics, even if the SNES version feels better.

Finally, it seems like I'm better using the remote than the Classic Controller.

Not unless I run out of space, which I'm not at all close to right now (I've got a 4GB SD Card).

If you run out of space on a 4GB memory card then probably erasing those 4 small files from the nes mario games won't help you for a long time.

No. I paid good money for those games and I can't really refund them or resell them so the answer is a firm no. Also I didn't get rid of my NES games when the original All-Stars came out. So there's no reason to.

Yes, and we will continue to send Nintendo money for every cheap cash-in they make until they make nothing but cash-ins. You should join us

No, I'm just not buying the disc. It's a waste of money. Same games, lame soundtrack, cheap booklet, and I can get the four games 9 dollars less on VC than the disc? Yeah, not signing up for that.

I'm not going to. They might technically be the same games, but they have the old school charm that the All-Stars versions don't have. I'll play them when I'm in the retro mood, and when I'm in the mood for reliving my younger days, I'll play All-Stars.

I wish the old-school charm had saving features
