NOTHING'S GOOD ON MONDAY FOR THE VC... Why? 1. Because Fighting Street is coming! (It's actually Street Fighter 1 but it won't be your "Cup of Tea" because the SEQUELS are ALOT Better!) 2. It's going to be the SAME OLD THING... Bad VC Games and the ones NOBODY wants (Like C64 or Neo-Geo)... 3. Nintendo NEVER listens to us fans, all I wanted was Super Smash Bros., Super Mario Kart and Kirby Super Star.
No, they listen to their fans. Nintendo released Majora's Mask in response to the popular demand and as the 300th release.
As for Earthbound, we'll probably never see it because it's full of possibly infringing references

Are you serious? Nintendo didn't listen to us at all, at least that's not the way I see it. Instead they merely forced us to wait longer for a game everyone else had because of some meaningless milestone. Does this mean we have to wait for VC game #350 or possibly even #400 to get Super Smash Bros? That's not being accomidating it's just being bull headed if you ask me. It would also seem as though first party games in general are a thing of the past in North America. I mean, where is Pilotwings at least, hmm? Screw you NOA.
There will be good WiiWare games, i just know it! I think Bit:Trip.Void, Cave Story and Castlevania Rebirth will come. (Or atleast one of them) But i'm not sure about the VC games tho.

North America is the absolute worst region for VC games now and it doesn't look like that'll change anytime soon, what with our backlogs continuously being filled with C64 and VCA titles that we only get once every month each, and that's an ambitious way to put it. Screw you NOA.
If they released all the good games at once, then they would be competing with other VC titles that are possible good as well. I also think you focus too much on what Nintendo didn't release in your thoughts about Nintendo above. Nintendo has released some good games that I'm pretty sure you have, but nowhere do you mention any of these. Maybe you should just sell your Wii if you don't like the service at all.

Rapadash i completly agree. These titles should already be released on the wii shop channel before releasing the wii In instead of making fans from 2007 to almost 2010 wait so long for there favorite games to appear.
So your suggesting that just because we already have a good number of games already, which I completely agree with by the way, that I should ignore the fact that Japan and Europe are STILL getting quality first party games on a regular basis? Excuse me but what kind of sense does that make? If they kept things a bit more even per territory I wouldn't be complaining but I find it completely unfair that North America has to step back and "be happy with what we have" because that just doesn't seem right to me. It doesn't make sense from a business perspective either, avoiding high profile releases in the territory that makes your company the most money... WTF, Nintendo?!
As you said, the VC already has tons of great games on it, and I have a huge collection myself, so why would I want to sell my Wii? I LOVE my Wii but I just hate what has happened to the North American Virtual Console as of this year. I'm not just going to sit back and accept it and you shouldn't be either.
Future Wii purchases: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Metroid: Other M Zelda Wii New Super Mario Bros. Wii Sin and Punishment 2

I guess when you put it that way, it doesn't make sense. However, I just tend to be happy with what I have and if they don't release other games, then I won't question it. Honestly, complaining about it a lot doesn't do much other than cause unnecessary stress, so I tend to avoid it.

I assume Nintendo of America would rather people buy Brawl instead of the cheaper N64 version. SNES Mario's Picross doesn't look like its getting released, I'm guessing because NoA want you to buy the retail DS version.
Even if Fighting Street does come out on Monday, its another average game crossed off on the list of games to be released, a few more and the good games have to be released. I think one difference between America and Europe that people tend to neglect is that America has also been getting obscure low profile games too that never came out in Europe originally (although we make up for that with C64 games but they've dried up now). We don't get the likes of King's Knight, Spelunker, Sky Kid etc... (yes, I know they've been released ages ago).
Its not all shiny over here. America has arcade Golden Axe, arcade Solomon's Key, SMS R-Type and SMS Wonder Boy III to come out as well. All of those four games will probably be met with groans of despair when they eventually get released. But Shinobi and Pilotwings have to be released sometime too.

Don't you have anything better to do rather than complaining about old games being re-released? Europe is always getting screwed when it comes to video games (no releases, delayed, release dates last, etc.) Just let them have Smash Bros. for a while. And Japan, you should already know, video games are like their life. Go find the old carts if you want them so much.
I'm a very optimistic starboy, so I try not to expect to much or have high hopes (but I sometimes do). In the end, I get over it and just smile about the update not being as good as expected.

Well we're on the Virtual Console board here and not the Retro board for a reason. Because people like the VC and want to play games through the VC. Everybody here prefers the convenience of just downloading them from a shop and being able to play them on their Wii. For many people its an inconvenience to have to hunt down a working console and then the games they want to play. Plus those old games can be quite expensive these days. Way more than you would pay for them on VC.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
I'm thinking it would have to be Fighting Street. It was supposed to be released this month and this upcoming Monday is the last Monday of the month. It's not a very good game, but hey, at least it's another TG16 title. Plus it's a game I suspect many people have never played before and I'd wager many people would like to play it just because it was the start of the legendary Street Fighter franchise.
Ghost Mansion Party has also been confirmed for Monday. This and Monkey Island are probably going to be the only Wiiware releases this Monday. Although I do hope we get ZAMN for our VC game.
