I actually played though Majora's Mask to get myself ready for Ocarina of Time 3D. I figured if I had played OoT on the N64 beforehand it would have made the remake feel stale before even playing it.

Nope, I bought Majora's mask before most of you were even born. I've always liked Ocarina better though. Probably because it has Ganon and the master sword. Majora is still a really good game if you give it a chance. At it's core it's still very much a Zelda game. With all the extra sidequests it's probably longer than Ocarina. It's also the only game where you can become feirce Deity Link.

@ Swilket Alot of them probably are. Either that or they got rid of their N64's before Majora came out. I suppose that's possible considering N64 was on the way out by 2000.

I loved it because it focused on Ocarina of Time's strong points instead of trying to fit them into a Zelda game, and ended up being more like one anyway.
I did buy Majora's Mask before OOT3D was even announced.
I said before despite thinking OOT is pretty overrated (because OOT is pretty overrated) that anyone who hasn't played it should get it. That's far more true for Majora's Mask, which just gets better with age (maybe not the age of the game itself, but the amount of time you play it and perhaps your own age)
Hmmm, I almost wanted to buy OoT on VC to compare it, but buying MM would be a better move. After I finish Master Quest and Twilight Princess maybe I'll download MM if there's no word of a remake coming.
I haven't got a 3DS yet but I played the limited edition that came with Wind Waker. I loved that game so much I got Majora once it came out on the Virtual Console.
I did play MM briefly on The Gamecube Collectors Edition Disc but I never really got it. At the beginning it just seemed to consist of some pointless mini-games where you had to find some boy, and then pop a balloon? I think I would probably buy it on 3DS just to try and actually get into the actual Gameplay, as I kind of stopped playing in the OOT equivalent of trying to find the Kokiri Sword. How the hell can I finish OOT in a breeze, yet get stuck within half an hour on MM? I'm going back to that right now...
