Topic: Anybody having difficulties registering products with Club Nintendo?

I'm very carefully and diligently entering and checking the code I'm entering but keep getting a message stating that "The product code you entered does not match any product in our system".

Any thoughts?

Maybe the game was an import, therefore has a different region site link?

Monster hunter is not made by nintendo. you can only register games that are published by nintendo (i.e. Mario or Zelda games)

So why has it got a Club Nintendo ticket with a code in the game case then?

Oh yes, it's all there. Right down to the silver bit you scrape off to get the number to register.

hmm. i don't know then, because i haven't gotten monster hunter tri yet, so maybe you can register it. i have never had any problems registering a game so far, so all i can say is maybe you entered the code incorrectly.

... I'm pretty sure that's the 500 wii points you got with the preorder. You can't use that on Club Nintendo's site.

Does it look like this?

If so, you use that to redeem points through the Wii shop channel and to download games.

I think NOE can register some 3rd party games on Club Nintendo.

Double check that you're typing the code right (L's can look like i's and zero's like o's)? If that doesn't work, i guess it's time to call ninty.

Here in the US. Just checked my copy and did not get one of those for registering the game. Maybe a mistake. Did anyone else get one.

I've only had trouble registering games when I've accidently scratched off the paper containing the code.

As for Monster Hunter Tri, I've just registered it on my Club Nintendo and haven't had any trouble.
