Call me lazy but when I finally get the time to use my Wii I hate the idea of having to get up and insert a disc everytime I want to watch a movie on Netflix.
I heard that the PS3 is finally going disc-less so where is the the Netflix Channel?
If they can put a game like Jet Rocket on WiiWare I know that can put the information from the Netflix Streaming Disc on a Wii Channel.
Discless Netflix is very possible. Every time you start it up, the disc stops in a few seconds. That said, there is currently no information, but if a Netflix Channel was confirmed I would be very happy.
I'm pretty okay.

You really think that they would be able to put information on heaps of movies and TV shows, with the ability to update constantly on the Wii. You answered yourself there comparing Jett Rocket to a discless Netflix. Jett Rocket is 40mbs at max. The discless Netflix would be over that easy.

Program and data are stored separately. The WiiWare limit (40 MB or 320 Wii memory blocks) is on the program size, not the data size. The current Netflix program stores its data in 1 Wii memory block (128 KB). If it were converted to a WiiWare program, it would still use only 1 Wii memory block (128 KB) for its data. The program itself would have up to 320 Wii memory blocks to live in.
The reason why the Netflix program only needs 128 KB for persistent data is because it downloads everything on the fly from Netflix. All the cover shots are downloaded and kept in RAM while the program is running, not stored in flash memory.

You are lazy. Seriously freaking lazy. Use your legs, it won't kill you.

Yeah, while it would be neat to have it discless, it hasn't bothered me to pop a disc into my PS3/Wii. I look at it this way...I would rather pop the one disc in and watch ten movies, then without netflix, having to pop 10 discs in to watch 10 movies.
