Today I had my family over here and I thought that's a good chance to try Family & Friends Party again.
I haven't played it when it reappeared on the Wii Shop since you need at least four players to play the game. This game has no single player mode so I had no chance to testplay it properly until now.
And that's the actual situation: All the bugs are still there!
WARNING!
Family & Friends Party still randomly crashes and freezes with a loud disturbing noise.
Family & Friends Party's Mii-selection-screen is still buggy as hell.
I have deleted more and more Miis off my Wii to make it compatible to the game (I deleted my complete adress book and all old friends - I have only 18 Miis left now when I originally had more than 90), but every time I deleted a Mii other Miis that showed up earlier in the game are now not available anymore! There is really nothing one can do to fix this sucker.
I did my best to get along with Nintendo, Gammick Entertainment, EnjoyUp and my own Wii about that issue, but now I really have enough of this crap. EnjoyUp suggested I should delete some Miis and I deleted almost all of them. Thank you very much, EnjoyUp for wasting 1000 points and 70 of my Miis!
This is the first game I deleted off my SD Card! It's a 0/10 from me and seriously, I would be happier with Happy Holidays Halloween.
That's terrible they have not addressed these issues. I would be very upset if I download a game that crashes all the time. Hopefully this will be a rare occurrence among Wii Ware titles.

This is a new low for game development. If it weren't for BIT.TRIP and the Virtual Console, I'd want Aksys to rot in hell.
I had a similar situation when I bought the game Splashdown for the XBOX. I really enjoyed the game a lot but whenever I reached a certain point in the tournament mode the game would crash 100% of the time. I purchased the game brand new so there were not defects on the disc it just was completely un-finishable(i made a new word) due to this bug. I contacted the developer but they did nothing, so I returned the game. Its a shame these games just did not have the time to be play tested before release.
Wow, that's awful! And I thought they said they fixed the issue, too. You should DEFINITELY contact Nintendo and let them know. Complain and they may be willing to help you for your inconvenience - completely unfair that you paid $10 and got squat for it!
