After DK64 that ho-hum title, it opens the door to expansion pack games, or at least games that can use it for that high res mode which was nice is there. Even without that support, there's a good deal many games that even out of Nintendo alone they could prop up on there really worth a grab. I'm not going to back pedal this thread, but I don't recall seeing Ridge Racer64 being mentioned as it was fully NST (with the ok of Namco but they did nothing with it at all) releasing that game and it has the best drift model by far of a RR game to that period in time (debatable after too.) It has the courses from like the first 2-3 ridge racer games and then its own new set of courses and is a great release (DS game was so broken sadly.) Since Lucas got into the mix with stuff I know it wont happen but given the stuff they did prop up, they should strongly work to get the low distro(10k copies made, 7k went to rental, rest web sale which I have) Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, and it's partner that caused it to go into limited mode Battle for Naboo.

For everyone saying that they're not releasing 64 games due to the memory pack compatibility, I forget, doesn't it save exactly where you're at when you leave to go back to the home screen? They could just disable the option like they did for ghosts in Mario Kart 64 couldn't they if they even needed to? ...as far as I can remember, no games required the memory pack to play, only to save. I'm guessing Nintendo doesn't release more 64 VC because they either don't have support from other publishers or they just don't feel like doing so.
Suspending Play doesn't work on N64 games, but I suppose they could change that.
My guess is that it has to do with the large memory size. N64 had 4MB RAM (8MB with expansion pack) plus however much VRAM.
With Donkey Kong 64, all we'll need after that are Mario Party 3, Chameleon Twist, Doom 64, Bomberman 64, Mega Man 64, Excite Bike 64, Pilot Wings 64, and the first two Turok games, and then the Nintendo 64 support can go die in a whole for all I care.

If we get all of those before the Wii dies, I'll explode.

Maybe for your sake I should've tossed the Goemon games in there. G-d knows if they'll ever show.
Mainly ecause its a collect-athon. All you do is run around and collect things, every once in a while theres a boss to beat.
For anyone who hasn't played it, I don't think they get it. It's basically a fun Banjo Kazooie ripoff with half of the effort for the stages but being forced to play through them 5 times.
This is probably my favourite snowboarding game but: 1080 Snowboarding, or just completely make a new one, its been almost 8 years, Please make a new one already nintendo, dont forget the bands as well like cauterize!

Psst...B-K came after DK64...
1998 is after 1999? What?
...Yes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.<_<
Any game by Rareware will never be released on Virtual Console. #@$% ninty for sellin Rare to Microsoft
Ninty did not sell Rare, M$ bought 51% of the shares. If another company or a person has 51% of a company's stocks, they control the company. M$ pretty much told Rare to quit Ninteno and join them, along with their IPs. Sad story, really.

What about the Goemon games, Mischief Makers, and Bangai-O!?
There's still a few good ones we haven't gotten yet.
