Topic: A brilliant idea for the Virtual Console Arcade.

They should add online play to them. Now I know Nintendo does not want to do this and normally, I support that the game is completely faithful to the original. However, it should still remain faithful to the original except that they should add online play to the Virtual Console Arcade games. Just that and nothing else.

Wouldn't you guys agree on online play? Too bad it'll never happen.

For some reason the concept of online Super Dodge Ball excites me.

anyways no i dont support this they would for one complty distroy what the VC is for and also the games would probly cost for more since theres online

Online support is costly and time-consuming. VC releases (especially VCA) are already slow to come out.

i don't think online play would really be any kind of a hit re: the Virtual Arcade games, but I do think some sort of online leaderboard system would very much be in the spirit of arcade gaming. Doubt we'll get it, but it would be nice. :3

I don't think it would be a good idea.
It would take longer for them to release games, and they may even have to charge us more.

I would love to see Afterburner on VC Arcade, it would be very cool if you could use the motion sensing nunchuck (like in the VC Arcade Space Harrier), just like piloting an airplane!

Nah, I rather see achievements for VC and WW games similar to the PS3 Trophies and 360 achievements. They could even put them in Wii games too.

Online leaderboards would be a fantastic idea, but online multiplayer is pretty unlikely.

A general leaderboard channel would be great and quite easy to make.

I thought of another great idea...How about they add some lightgun arcade games like DuckHunt vs., Time Crisis, etc. Why not...After all the Wii was built for that sort of thing.

All I need is local leaderboards; online for VCA just doesn't make sense to me.

I would like to see an achievement system that could be shared with your friends.
