Your right. I am tried of these terrible one-game weeks. Next thing we know, they might cancel it without letting us know in advance. Why not give us two-game weeks again? This is isn't getting rediculous, it's beyond unacceptable. It means the majority of the VC weeks is going to sucks for now on if they continue the terrible one-game week.
It just means you shouldn't invest so much emotion into the Virtual Console and its weekly releases.
If someone is getting that bothered about games appearing each week that they don't want, they need to shift their focuses onto something else. Sure, check the shop every Monday or come here to see whats new so that you don't miss anything good but if its something you don't want then just shrug to yourself and carry on doing something else.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Majora Mask relase wasn't enough for me to prevent me from caving in and getting Earthbound illegally (Through ROMs). That's bad enough for me, I don't want to have to do this on other games I really want. I'm still a desperate supporter of the Virtual Console, it's my only legal way to experience the classic games.
I don't think the TC understands marketing. Plus Japan originally had much more games for all the consoles that make up the VC at least compared to the US. I personally don't see how you could complain anyway. If there were six games released every monday for the VC, would you buy them all?

Most people who follow the VC have a wishlist of popular and rare games they wish to play again on the VC. By Nintendo slowing down the releases it means that some of these games my take months to years before they are released again. Who wants to wait that long to see a classic game show up again.
I can understand Nintendo not releasing a game because of licensing/rating/translation issues etc. But what i don't understand is if they have games that are ready to release but they choose to hold them back to fit their release schedule, if its ready release it!!! People will still buy all the games they want, just when they want them. But i don't make ¥100000 a hour like Nintendo so i suppose they know better.
They want to give poor or lesser known games a chance; the more games we get the less the crap and unknown games get downloaded.
Also, Nintendo doesn't want to run out of Virtual Console games. Games have to be licensed and rated before they get put up on the VC - we don't know how many games Nintendo has available to them right now but if the coming soon list is any indication then its not many.

I've gotten to the point where I don't mind 1 VC game a week. It's all free money for Nintendo anyway and they already get plenty of that with wiiware and retail. I do wish the quality was more consistent though. Like retail, Nintendo still delivers their best VC games closer to the holidays.

If you ask me, though Japan has all the reason in releasing 6 VC games per week due to its tons of games (especially Japan-only games), I believe that, with the new consoles released, Nintendo should go back to two VC-game weeks (with 3-VC games every 2 or 1 months).
Then again, why is Europe so neglected? (Is such due to there being a lot of languages in which to translate for the region?)
It seems Nintendo of Japan has alot say about what VC games come out next. I don't like 1 VC game a week and I never will, but there really is not much anyone can do about it. I still think it does not hurt to email Nintendo your requests from time to time. What is really annoying about 1 game weeks is when we get repeat games like Wonderboy III.
Thanks Marky Vigroth for including me in your favorite avatar list I guess you can tell I am a fan of Mega Man 9
@Tony: Yes. The Wonderboy III update was the worst VC update ever. Releasing it on it's own was a bad move on NIntendo. It should've been released with a second game.
