Actually... for me, Steam downloads games faster when I do something else that uses internet, like streaming YouTube.
but...why?
when you're downloading a game via steam and decide to do nothing else... your inet is only busy with doing that exact thing
when you're also on youtube, etc. meanwhile... you have to dl the game + load youtube videos, so the download should take longer
if i download 1 thing with a speed of 500kbs, but then decide to download another thing shortly after... the download speed changes to 250kbs each
so why would the kbs of your steam or wii u downloads increase when your internet has more "work to do" than before?
I know people argue that my method doesn't work for downloads, but when I say do something else I mean play a game or something that doesn't require internet. I was downloading WWHD, and it was standing still pretty much, but then I started to play another game, and it finished in a matter of a few minutes.
