Some of the apps still load longer but close faster. The Nintendo TVii has a digital clock. The Netflix app still loads & closes longer. I still don't understand why Nintendo choses not have the 2 usb storage drives use simultaneously when you can move files from one to another.
The load time is not really unchanged but it just slightly improved I guess. Seems almost the same to me. When you close most of the apps except for the (Netflix app) it close faster.
Not a very significant update when it took Nintendo almost half of a year to make this update.

They're at least five seconds faster to me. I dunno how you don't notice this....

I just don't understand what Nintendo's programmers been doing with the USB storage. You still can only use 1 usb drive at a time. You can format the 2 usb drives one at at time too. You can plug both & move files from 1 usb drive to another but you can't get into the main menu unless you turn off the Wii U & remove 1 usb drive. If you try to get into the main menu by pressing the HOME button a pop up message comes up telling you that you can only connect 1 drive at a time if you try to access the main menu with 2 usb drives connected.
@Cheaptrick: They only added the ability to transfer stuff from one to another, not the ability to access two drives at the same time
Also there's no VC service yet
I guess so. I got this 2 very tiny USB flash drives (64 Gb total) that I was hoping to use simultaneously. It doesn't make sense why Nintendo choses to go with this kind of usb storage option when essentially they can make the 2 usb drive ports work together.
