Sorry for the choppy title, but I didn't know what else to call thia thread.
So, it appears the marketing department was bored today, because U checked my sub box after class to find five Indie trailers for near-future eShop titles including:
Armillo - I didn't quite understand how this game works, but frjm what I could understand, this game reminded me disturbingly of Puddle, which was an interesting physics puzzle game with good level design, but ab awful difficulty spike, once they started throwing in gimmick levels. I'll keep an ehe o this, but I hesitate to say that I'm even considering a buy, here.
Stick It To The Man - This is a humorous Adventure-Puzzle game that seems to get much of its praide from the writing This reminds me greatly of The Cave, which was a bit of a disappointment for me. I'm gonna need to see someone play the first level, or something to help me decide if this is woorth my money.
Teslagrad - A 2D side-scrolling Puzzle-Platformer referred to as a Metroidvania title. After playing Knytt Underground and seeing this game ib action, and after seeing that trailer, I wilp be picking this up without a doubt. How long it takes me, though, will depend entirely on when it actually releases.
Cubemen 2 - I... uh... what? Ok, raise your hand, if this trailer told you as little as it told me. I think the game looks great, but Strategy isn't really my thing. However, there's online and cross-platform, as well as user created content and a Minecraft aesthetic. I won't be picking this up, but if this sounds like your kind of thing, I urge you to seriously consider it. This game looks aweaome.
Nihilumbra - A dark concept platformer designed tk make you think while you play. The addition of multiplayer seems pointless, though, as this appears to be a game best played soli. Even so, the unique use of rhe Gamepad to control the world around you is an interesting concept. This reminds me heavily of Limbo, and as a fab of Limbo, I will certainly br picking up this "Limbo with a twist" title, when I get the chance.
This line up is rather impressive. It's certainly a step up from our usual eShop field day offerings. I'll post the links to the trailers below, please feel free to comment, argue, and call me an idiot for not liking Puddle or The Cave all that much.
@Tasuki: Posting links to videos made by other parties is okay to an extent. For example, we have no problem with a user posting a video on Mighty No. 9 or Teslagrad. In this case no rule-breaking is done.
