OO7 Legends is only $9.99 on Amazon.com right now. A good online FPS to hold you over until Mario Kart. Good luck with the online part though lol

Mario and Sonic at Sochi is on clearance for $20 at Staples (Canada). It's sold out online, but you might be able to find a copy in-store.

No reason to not jump on this if you've been on the fence about picking up a Wii U. It comes with the same 1 year warranty that a new console would.

Too bad people will still say the Wii U needs to be cheaper

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

sarcasm Yeah, because a temporary unadvertised sale on a refurbished system from an obscure Nintendo online storefront is the same thing as a price cut . Clearly they would both boost sales equally sarcasm

I am not saying this will boost sales. I am saying that people, who follow the Wii U close enough, will see this and still think $200 for a Wii U is still too much for the small reasoning that it has been refurbished. Refurbished from Nintendo with a 1 year warranty is better than Used from GameStop with a 90 day warranty. People will always want something cheaper no matter how cheap it actually is.

If you have been asking for a cheaper Wii U here is your answer. If you still complain about the price or the fact it is refurbished then buy a Ouya...

For sure, I see what you mean. I just jumped on this deal as a secondary system. If Wii U doesn't sell that well in the future it could be a collectors item. I am probably going to let a bro use it instead of leaving it in storage. It looks like it doesn't come with the stands and charging cradle though unfortuanately.

I also have subsized my nephews birthday present with $150 towards a brand new Wii U for his parents and am doing the same for my other sister.

In total that will be 4 Wii U systems i had a hand in getting sold. And they say those early 3DS adopters are Nintendo ambassadors sheesh.

Not actually a Wii U deal, but I just picked up a brand new copy of Fling Smash complete with Wii remote plus for $1.99 at EBgames (Canada). I doubt I'll even bother playing Fling Smash, but a Wii remote plus for that price is like the sale of the century.

I should have posted this sooner, but I got Wonderful 101 for $34.99 at Toys R Us in Canada the other week. Pretty sure they dropped the price when Gamestop did.

Because of customs/duty fees?
The perks of being Canadian.

Late reply, but doesn't it tell you all the fees during the checkout? I've ordered stuff duty-free from amazon (or maybe it was just their resellers), but for US videogames I just use ebay.

It does. I bought pop vinyl figures off of there a couple weeks ago and it charges your duties and taxes into your total.
