Topic: Wii remote sucks

I have a bunch of wii games, mostly those that support the classic controller because the wii remote just sucks, it might be good for sport games but, nothing else.
I don't have a wii, because i wanted to play everything on the wii u, but i can only use the Wii remote on it, which is really annoying...
Is there any way to use the Pro Controller U or maybe some adapter for the classic controller?

Thanks

You can use a Classic Controller in Wii Mode, but only if the game supports it.

So i just need to connect it to the nunchuck?

This is it right here. Notice how it's connected to the Wii Remote like the Nunchuk. There's also a Classic Controller Pro.

Unless you have some weird third party Wiimote that comes with the nunchuck permanently attached, you should be able to take out the nunchuck and connect your classic controller, just like the image above shows.

Bloop.

The Wii Remote is wireless. Early Wii models had ports that let you connect GameCube controllers, but were removed later on.

No, you just need a Wii Remote for the Classic Controller to plug into, and you're all set.

Sounds good, thanks.

I have the Wii u Pro controller, but i'm just gonna get a classic controller from ebay right now
I thought the Wii U Pro Controller would work as a classic controller for the wii mode.

There is a giotek one that can work as both types without a wiimote.

Sounds like you just missed the 'innovation' train my friend. Tennis elbow is fun...

Nintendo understands this.

I wasn't crazy about it, but I firmly believe that it was nice beyond Wii Sports and the like. Here's some of my favorite uses of it...

-Skyward Sword (1:1 sword control)
-Metroid Prime 3/Trilogy and Resident Evil 4 (Replaced with great effect using the right analog stick for aiming.)
-Lightgun style arcade shooters (Ghost Squad, House of the Dead II/III, etc.)
-NES style gamepad (Turn it sideways and you have a great controller to enjoy VC downloads, NSMBWii, etc.)
-Mario Kart Wii (Okay, I was a Wavebird fan and didn't like steering with motion, but from the looks of it, many did and continue to do so in MK8.).

Also, it was tolerable when used basically for its buttons rather than its motion capabilities. Think the Super Mario Galaxy games for instance where you're using it, but it's not full of needless waggle control (There's a bit of motion control implemented in, but it's not needlessly overdone).

I think it’s great. I never had any problems with it.

It’s pretty brilliant i its design, IMO.

Some of the finest motion control work on Wii and it's all from EA!

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.

I think that the Metroid Prime Trilogy, The Godfather, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Grand Slam Tennis, Tiger Woods and PES were all better games on the Wii due to the Wii remote.

Games like Skyward Sword, Red Steel 2 and Trauma Center would be virtually impossible on any other system because of the Wii motion controls.

Some good Wii games with Classic controller support are Sakura Wars, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, Xenoblade, The Last Story, No More Heroes 2, Muramasa, Sonic Colors, A Boy & His Blob and Rune Factory.

Based on some recent things, I have to ask.

1. Do you have a Wiimote Plus or the weird Motionplus attachment that came with Wii Sports Resort?
2. Are you trying to use the sensor bar for everything?
