A budget priced indie title by the name of Abyss launched last week in Europe, now while the game has its issues its certainly not a bad investment. But that's not what I'm interested in, the Miiverse 'thread' on this game is how Miiverse should be used.
Basically people were buying this game and posting on Miiverse compliments/ constructive criticism to which the developer replied just thanking them or answering the persons requests. For example: one person asked for online leaderboards, the developer said he would take that into consideration. Now whether that will ever be patched into the game remains to be seen, but this is a fantastic use of indiependant developers asking for feedback on a game to actually better it (hopefully). And this is right here on the console itself, everyone with a console can access it for free. Not only that but that 'thread' was being used for tips, time trial screens, etc. Its absolutely brilliant to see. So maybe if peoples start using it as intended Miiverse could be a fantastic tool for developers and customers alike
In my opinion, I think miiverse should have some form of category. Category of games to talk about does not work for me. I saw way too many people asking for help on Super Metroid miiverse. I seen way too many stamps on Super Mario 3D World miiverse. I seen way too many time records on F-Zero miiverse. I think they should put in an category something like "general", "records", "tips", and etc in miiverse. So if you are looking for help then that person should look in "tips" selection. I seen way too many same questions being asked. As you stated about the feedback then why not have an feedback as an separate category.
Miiverse has just slowly degraded over time... It's good to hear stuff like this still happens, but the whole thing is pretty much lost. It's kinda become a joke in the same vein as voice chat on the Xbox 360. The only reason I visit daily is to read Sakurai's posts, but once those end I can't say I'll go back very often. Granted, this is still nice to hear.

Yeah I think categories would hugely improve the overall experience, I remember just constant scrolling posts of nothing but stamps in 3D world, actually now that I think of it stamps are a nice extra but are pointless and kind of a hinderence to miiverse's actual potential
I got the game but I did not go to the Miiverse community.
For me most of these communities consist of short, dumb messages, so I don't even bother. @Super_Gravy has a point as well. Usually you have to scroll through tons of comments to find something worthwhile.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

It is just a penny for my thought.
Don't they already kinda do that woth the tags?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

The Mii Verse is well thought of, but badly executed. IMO the Mii Verse will be 100x better if they have "Live" Chat rooms instead of just leaving messages. In essence just make it more like Facebook. Like what @sinalefa said, the messages are short and dumb and it is almost impossible to interact with people properly.
Imagine how we will be able to rally up people for online play using mii verse live chat rooms instead of the pathetic messaging system we have now. The blue blinking light is the only notification we get and it is easily neglected when you are using Pro/Wii motes.

How the tags work? I don't see the tags.
Most, if not all communities have tags. You can choose one when you're posting. They have tags like Questions, accomplishments, stuff like that. When you're viewing a Miiverse community, there should be a little tag icon that let's you filter the posts so you can only see posts with the tag you chose.
I use Miiverse a lot. I like checking out the Pokemon X/Y community most popular posts for the drawings, and I've subscribed to a few artists. I also can't wait for Petit Compurer 3DS to come out, that community will be amazing!

Great post, thanks for letting me know. I think miiverse is a totally brilliant idea. It's a warm and cozy environment to talk about the games on the console and share stuff anonymously. Really great.
I know three things that can make miiverse way better
1. Add like a free posting room so you can talk about your daily life or something
2, Get rid of the three minute restriction posting update
3. Don't be so strict, you can get banned for saying "You suck" trust me I tried it and it got deleted COME ON NINTENDO ITS NOT THAT BAD
If those problems are fixed, then miiverse would be a lot better.
UPDATE: Bowser just ate some cake and it was yummy
@Imagamerboi 1. Pretty much the YouTube community/Activity Feed
2. I don't really mind this one much personally(plus it helped stop some spamming)
3. Telling someone that they suck is considered rude and can offend most people so I'm ok with those posts being deleted.
The modding can be odd, I've looked in communities where people were cursing and getting mad and it was there for weeks. It was in an E rated game community, not M or something, which even in there I think is still limited just the same.
Every since those pics on tumblr/etc have been floating around about "the worst of the Miiverse", it feels like I've seen less weird stuff. Coincidence
I actually like the way Miiverse is modded. It's as it should be. You have to keep in mind that this isn't like your average bulletin board where everyone is supposed to be 13 or older; there are significantly younger children there, and minimizing the amount of things like "You suck" they're exposed to is a good thing. It also promotes more constructive criticism, since simply insulting someone is hardly that.
I peruse Miiverse pretty frequently, and find it to be a breath of fresh air compared to how most online communities are (IE, toxic).

And how do you propose to moderate such an environment? I don't see it.
Miiverse is kind of its own thing, for better or worse, and is unlikely to change dramatically.
