Topic: What do you want to see Mario do on the Wii U?

Personally I want to see a Skyrim like Mario game where you can explore without a care in the world. No Galaxy 3, Sunshine 2 or 64 2. A new Idea with the worlds connected like Mario World.

A new collectathon game that has a unique theme and actually uses the Gamepad.

I want Mario to party like it's 1999.

I want to see a Mario game with more open world gameplay, yet also the great power up/health system from 3D Land and World. Mario 64/Sunshine style gameplay with Fire Flower, Cape, Tanooki Suit or Cat Mario abilities basically.

I want a new Mario miniseries like Super Mario Land. They weren't afraid to make things completely different from game to game, and I love that about it.
I'd also love more games starring minor characters. My dream come true is a stealth-based game starring Shy Guy.

Galaxy 3 or super mario 64 U, visiting other kingdoms would be a good idea to though.

I'm still waiting for a Galaxy-esque Mario on Wii U... 3D World may be brilliant, but I want a REAL 3D Mario. Do you think Nintendo could put Galaxy 3, Sunshine 2 and the new 3D Mario all in one case? A guy can dream..

I too want something along the lines of Mario 64. They haven't used a formula like that for quite a while. Galaxy was a bit like that although a lot of levels were quite linear.

How would that work? You mean the variety of areas like in Super Mario World but just all seamless in an open world? What would be the aim of the game?

Open world Mario RPG, disguised as a 3D platformer. Think Xenoblade, but with much denser levels, and much more vertical space.

I'm just happy I'm getting Mario maker. Only thing I would require from this is I can upload and download levels. I can die happy atleast then

This made me picture a xenotype mario game with paper mario (the original two) elements.. that would probably work pretty well actually. ._. now i want to see it, open world mario adventure rpg.

Both Galaxy games on the Wii were completely amazing and we need a 3D mario title of that caliber in glorious HD.

They better have something to show for this at E3.
