@DestinyMan How did that slip my mind?! Woah! Well, if that happens, though, that deconfirms the first pic in the leak, as Diddy Kong would have to be to the right of Falco, if he's next.
I fail to see how people could quickly determine the Falco image as fake and yet nobody can do the same with the Palutena one.
The Falco one did take a little longer then usual to disprove (around 24 hours whereas most anything else gets torn apart in a matter of minutes), but like @cookiex mentioned the whole image is jagged.
Also apparently Smashboards is the place many turn to when it comes to discerning possible leaks, specifically images. The fact that they haven't been able to definitively call the Palutena fake is noteworthy. Heck when I first joined the site the page for rumours and leaks had less then 100 pages. Mostly due to Palutena, there is now almost 300.
The way I look at leaks is just, look at the kind of thing people can actually do with Photoshop. Faking a screenshot can't be difficult. Ignore all till confirmed by the man himself.
I'm calling it. It's real. There's no reason not to believe it's fake other than not being officially revealed through pic of the day, or Sakurai. The lighting is correct, his model looks correct too. Falco is starting up in Backward Aerial (Bair) attack in the pic, I don't think a hoaxer could be that precise.
The visor is supposed to be on the other side of his face, which we can't see.
On another note: Let the Short Hop Double Laser spam begin! (hope sakurai nerfs his laser, but buffs his other moves -_-)

@Orngeblu I would try, but the thread there is so huge I don't remember what page it's on. Basically they said the image is photoshopped (if you look closely his model is very jagged all around).
Playable bosses? Plz no. I'd rather not have playable characters that completely redefine the rules of Smash.
Last I checked, Sonic still takes knockback from being hit, flies farther the more damage he accumulates, and can be KO'ed by ring out, unlike all bosses in the history of Smash.
So this new Sonic game got announced..
I actually hope Sonic will get some kind of costume from it. Not remodeling him, just a darker blue(plus his arms get blue), a scarf and cover him with sports tapes. Just a better costume than his awkward recolour thing..
As far as the character predictions and leaks go, I think some people should share some insight on a characters move-set and match-ups.
I've been wondering... can Fox's Reflector reflect Kirby's Up-Special? (the projectile portion of it). If so, Rosalina would probably redirect it. Also, I thought that if Rosalina used Gravitational Pull (in mid-air) on Pikachu's used Thunderbolt, it would be cool if the lightning was redirected on both sides of her, creating an effective shield. So it would go like this: Thunderbolt enters through the top, it splits and curves around Rosalina, then the split lightning meets/merges under her and shoots under. Lastly, what if Gravitational Pull redirects projectiles in 180 degree fashion, and depending on where projectiles enters the field, you could (technically) send back the projectile.
