@Freeon-Leon That Bamboozler is looking surprisingly good. I only question the Inkstrike, as that might not be the optimal special for it... Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Nice! Use neither weapons often though, but burst bombs + bucket seems better to me.. though with the nerf, burst bombs may be a lot less useful
Yeah, I like burst bombs better too, but splatbombs are my second favorite sub. I didin't really mind the change to the burst bombs, but when a few of us played together a few nights ago, I noticed I was doing a lot worse with my usual Slosher set-up; so either I was just having a bad night, or the nerf ruined my strategy more than I thought. I'm also so tired of the Inkstrike. I think it's the worst special by far. The Inkzooka is one of the best specials, in my opinion... maybe I'll just alternate between sloshers! lol XD
I'm glad these weapons are coming out before our Splatournament! Gives us enough time to practice and get good with them.
@Blue_Blur: Probably a bad night then since the nerf comes out with the new weapons. Got to use the burst bombs to their full advantage before the nerf!
Wow, I didn't know there was another update coming (apart from Sheldon's picks I mean) until I entered the thread. I like how most of the nerfs don't affect most of my main weapons. I'm really looking forward to the buff of the N-ZAP's and especially the Jet Squelcher buff (movement speed up by 50%). The range extension of the Splash-o-matic is also nice, but probably not enough.
Guess I can counter the nerf of the burst bombs and special saver with my gear, so that's acceptable. However I dislike the nerf of Echolocator and Coldblooded. :/ I've been using both excessively, now I'm not sure I'll use CB anymore. But I can still extend the effect of Echolocator, so I'll stick with it.
Intelligence is a thing too...like grabbing the Rainmaker when the opponents died, but my team didn't want to do that
Yeah recently I've seen that behaviour a lot too! Sometimes I wonder what's going on in the heads of the other players. Like, I take out the entire enemy team and instead of taking the RM or the SZ, my teammates troll around and do nothing...
Oh and also: 18 kills isn't worth anything if you don't win. A kill != a kill. The value of each kill depends on the game situation and the benefit your team gets from it to reach the objective. A kill can actually be worth less than a death in some situations (e.g. giving the RM-bearer a chance to escape, keeping the zone inked for a few extra seconds to secure the win or give the enemy team a penalty).
Believe it or not, but after testing the burst bomb nerf, I actually like it!
Wait, how could you already test it if the update's not out yet? Also, this means the inksaver (sub) becomes more meaningful for Burst bombs. Since the 2.6.0 update, you could essentially throw two splat/suction bombs and up to 6 burst bombs. So I guess the burst bomb nerf is a reaction to that, now you'll need inksaver (sub) to throw at least 4 bombs again. I'll have to test it, maybe 3 burst bombs are suffice. The bigger blast radius is surely a great nerf though!
most importantly, I need to go create some stuff like music and SMM levels that've been in my head for a while now. I'll come back someday though, this game is so addictive.
Interesting, what kind of music? It's the same for me, Splatoon is actually keeping my from making music (and MM levels, yeah). ^^
I don't think that special saver was that popular before, but with the larger penalties then I think we could see it used more often.[...]
Another thing I want to test out is if you can hear someone that is moving slowly since the bubbling sound only occurs when you aren't moving at all and I don't think I heard myself when I moved slowly. [...]
you should also be able to hear yourself when not moving under ink btw which is why I am usually standing when trying to listen for hiding squids.
Haha yeah I've done that myself several times. The sound effects are actually really important/helpful during battle (at least when there's not too much action going on).
If I remember correctly, you can hear the swimming sound even when you're swimming slowly. But it's hard to notice during battle if you're not specifically listening to it.
Actually I used special saver a lot, although not recently. But I have several good items with special saver, so I guess I'll be using them more frequently again.
@PikminFan22: I know right? It's something one likes to do and still we let ourselves get distracted. I also promised myself to draw more again, but didn't really do much. Well if you want to share your creations (levels, drawings, whatever), let me know!
My GOTY? Legend Of Zelda: Splat of the child. Ah no, I meant LoZ: Breath of the SPLATOOOON!
I thought it was already out. I could've sworn last time I played I could only throw three burst bombs at once instead of four at once... Making me think the update was already out. Guess I was wrong! Lol XD The more I think about it, it does make sense for the update to come out with new weapons! XD I think I'm gonna like the splat bombs; can't wait to try it!
@TingLZ Wednesdays are my busy night, so I'll have to try it on Thursday...
@Blue_Blur I'm just looking forward to not being nerfed by an update for once. In fact, the Splat Bombs arguably make my life a lot easier, as E-Liters will need to adjust to only having three bombs!
I may try out the Bamboozler III, and possibly the slosher, although I think that the second set may have something more to my liking. (I would like to see an N-Zap (not gonna happen), a .52 gal (possible, but unlikely, due to the .92 existing, and prolly getting a Sheldon Pick), or a Splat Roller (I would so love for this to happen. XD))
@PikminFan22: Mostly the same stuff I drew in my childhood, back then I really drew a lot! Stuff like trees, sunsets, other landscapes, dinosaurs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , football players/outfits and whatnot. But I should also refresh and learn new things I guess. @TingLz: I think I should be up for a few games on Wednesday night too. Definitely trying out the new weapons.

Oh yeah, I second that! A new N-Zap with Burst Bombs or a .52 with a more useful set (in my opinion) would be great, I also wouldn't mind a new Jet or Dual Squelcher.
I was secretly hoping for a Splattershot with Echolocator (before the Wasabi Splattershot was revealed) but that's not gonna happen. Looking forward to the Berry Splattershot Pro though. @Blue_Blur: Hehe. ^^ Idk, maybe it was because the slosher needs so much ink?

@Blue_Blur: I'm pretty sure they already updated the weapon tweaks. The burst bombs since have gotten that extra splash around it's blast radius. Plus, I'm 95% sure the Squelcher didn't take only 4 hits before.
