Topic: Should I?

I know i'm a little bit late, but a couple of months ago i bought a wii u, and have been enjoying it ever since. I like it so much, that i play it more than my switch. I recently thought of getting my friends into smash bros, so i'm thinking of getting a wii u for one of my friends to play with them, since there are plenty of auctions of the wii u with plenty of games and accessories on the german ebay. And here is where i ask you: Should i? Should i get a wii u for one of my friends, is it still worth it?

In my opinion, the wii u still has many great aspects to it, namely its multiplayer. So if you know that there's games there which you'll both be playing for years to come then why not.

But then again, why spend so much on someone else?

Are you sure they want a wiiu?

If you want it for playing pre-Wii U games (e.g. Virtual Console and Wii games) then yes, get a Wii U. If you want it for playing Wii U games then definitely not, just wait for ports/sequels to come to Switch as those won't have important features removed in the near future.

Depend on what is your friend want.
If they want to play Wii & Wii U games, go ahead with Wii U machine.
But if just Only Wii U, better buy them Switch.

At least the amount of cash you can spend on the Wii U is capped due to it being discontinued. Switch is bleeding me dry lol!

I say only if they will play it. Used WiiUs aint cheap and theres at least 10-15 must own physical titles and tonsa VC titles only avail on the Wii Shop and WiiU eShop.... Amd even Gamecube titles with hacking.... something Switch only can dream of having.
The WiiU is am awesome machine. My fave Nintendo console of all time.... YEAH I SAID THAT
