And no, this is Mario Kart. Not Smash. We can have as many characters as Nintendo feels like stuffing into this game, so long as they can think of a way to get them all crammed in there. The Wii U disks have impressive capacity compared to anything Nintendo has used before. Maybe they're trying to push the limits on the character roster? 60 characters, here we come! (I'm personally hoping for those snake guys from SMB2/Doki Doki Panic to be playable in the next game.)

I really think it would be cool to include maps from other nintendo games like zelda or metriod inspired map.

why not turn it into Super Kart Brothers at once and let the Blue Falcon outspeed even the blue shells ? XD
