Capcom is doing the same bad job with their approach of Revelations 2 as they did with RE6, so I won't be buying it on any platform.

Doesn't bother me, I need something to play on the Vita this year.

Or they could've just made a 3DS game and remade it in HD again.

They've gotta put the main focus where the money is. Resident Evil just sells the most on playstation. For saying RE:R was the best resident evil in about a decade, and probably the best looking game on the 3DS, it sold really quite poorly. Whereas a trainwreck like RE6 sold incredibly well just because that's where it's audience is.

Yes, exactly. The audience lies with Xbox, Sony, and the Steam brands. RE: Revelations was a great game, but sold like garbage on Wii U. Simple math=no sequel.

It sold like garbage on Xbox 360 too, struggling to sell 0.24m units (as of 25 January 2015) even after heavy discounts on a console with a much, much higher install base than Wii U. But apparently simple math=sequel when you apply it to Xbox 360.

But selling 0.82m units on 3DS? Forget it, no sequel for 3DS. That's Capcom logic.

Oh snap, my simple math logic sounds foolish then. I didn't realize it sold that bad on the Xbox 360. I wonder what Nintendo did to get Capcom to turn away from them like this? I mentioned once on a message board that Sony and Microsoft pay up for all these third party games, and I got destroyed for that.
