Why can't you put it on the tv screen?

It just doesn't show up on TV only on game pad

If it's all Wii U games I'd say you have an incompatible TV resolution configured on your Wii U. If it's only Zen you might check that you've not got it switched to off-screen play - I think the convention is to use the Select ("-") button to toggle that so give it a go. I had assumed when you said that, that someone in the house was forbidding it !

The think I don't like about Zen Pinball is that sometimes you have to buy some tables you don't want just to get the one you want. Like I want to buy the Blade table as it is the one I play the most on 3DS but I have to buy 3 other tables I'm not interested in. I bought the The Walking Dead table and that's it until I can select which tables to buy. I'm not paying for something I won't use.

Other than that, it's a great game, I just miss the 3D sometimes, the tables look gorgeous on the 3DS XL (if you are into 3D anyway), but we are having great times with the 2 screen multiplayer, one of us playing on the TV and the other playing on the gamepad. Which is the kind of things that makes me love the Wii U and its gamepad!

You need to hold down on the touch screen and swipe the screen up to the tv. It's not really informative in telling you this but if you look you will find it. One more word of advice, make sure your tv is in game mode or there will be plenty of lag depending on the tv. I didn't realize this at first and the slight delay made it unplayable on my tv till I changed the settings.

Fantastic, worked a treat, thank you very much.

Totally agreed in the first point. There's Marvel tables I enjoyed when I demoed, but they're bundled with others I didn't. Blade is one of the best; I didn't have as big an issue with the bundled tables so I got that one, but I do sympathise. Seems odd to have demos individually downloadable, but not allow for individual purchase!

My personal favorite is Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon. (It's also available on the DSi Shop) It's only one table, but it's excellently done. The physics are great, the rule set is very deep so there's a lot to do, and there are plenty of voices, music tracks, and dot matrix animations to nicely top it all off. In my book, it's a must buy for a anyone who likes pinball.

Yep, needs repeating how excellent is that game. Brian Blessed on top form as Zeus is reason alone to buy it, but I also think it's the best original pinball game made for console or handheld. Hope to see the team bring their successfully kickstarted Pro Pinball project to eShop eventually.

I remember playing that TimeShock! table on the PC about 20 years ago. Actually, I think I might still have the box for the game somewhere. However, the kickstarter-updated game seems to be battling with huge delays, so I wouldn't count on a release version on anything at the moment.

How do I play against my friends on the Zen version? If I click multiplayer it just comes up as player 1 and 2, can I play against friends so it will add to our stats?

I love the South Park tables in Zen and I keep intending to buy some of the Marvel ones but because there's so many it puts me off so I keep deciding to wait for a sale instead.

Do they often do a sale?

They do a sale once or twice a year. I got all mine but one pack on sale last year at this time for about 40$ That was all the Star Wars tables at the time and all 26 Zen Tables.

Also the multiplayer is just that, you go head to head against a friend on the same system. The only interaction online it the leader boards.

Need to get Zen Pinball. I read the tables purchase process was a bit convoluted so I haven't gotten it.

And I will definitely get Poképinball, as I have been waiting for the original since Nintendo announced Gameboy VC with the 3DS.

You have to download the demo of the table you want 1st and then purchase the table after.....It is a pain but not more then a few minutes worth of extra work. Now I'm trained to do it though so when I bought South Park I did it in the right order and didn't swear as much as I did the first few tables

Do you then need to delete the trial versions to free up space?

No, the trial version is the full game. When you purchase the actual table it just unlocks the time limit.

I thought there were some Star Wars tables for Zen Pinball, but I did a search the other day and none came up. Have they been taken down, or was I dreaming in the first place?

Starwas Pinball is made by Zen, but those tables aren't part of Zen Pinball 2, go to the eShop and type pinball in the search bar, you'll find it.

You're right. Thank you.

I didn't understand that you had to get the demo first, even after you bought the first four . I had bought two tables, thinking i had to break a high score to unlock them. I finally got frustrated enough to post something on Miiverse and they explained it to me.

Anyway, pinball is one of my most played games. It's good to pick up and play a game or two and just put down. Zen has done a good job bringing in new titles.
