I think it’s a cool system. No regrets here at all. The thing that makes me feel burned is that most of the good games were ported to the switch with only slight improvements. Enjoy the system ho. I think MK8D probably still has some online play.... not sure about Splatoon...doubt if there’s many on other games.

@rockodoodle MK 8 on the Wii u is still lively. I'm always getting a full party whenever i play online.

Good to hear! As much as I love the Switch, there is a part of me wishes I held off on it and stuck with the WiiU a little longer.

I will add you as I still use mine almost every day. I think you'll see me as Martijn or MartijnV.

When it comes to games, I am nearly done with my U backlog as I've nearly gotten everything that interests me on the platform. And I have to say I don't think I ever bought as many for any console. Wii U got loads of crap for being dead and having no games but man, reality is it's a gold mine you can buy for pocket change nowadays and you can dive into this huge library of good stuff. It really is loaded with gems. Many of which are on the Switch now as well, true, but with barely any visual difference and for an additional 40 bucks.

If you decide to play Most Wanted, we can team up as I'm playing that one online a lot these days

I loved it, the games that truly made the most of the system in the graphics department looked mind blowingly amazing and proved it was next gen, those that made the most of the GamePad achieved the same result gameplay wise, offscreen play around the house is just great and the many different controller options are so nice. For example, you can play a first person shooter any way you want, be it on or offscreen with the GamePad using additional functionality on the second screen, traditionally with a Pro Controller on the TV or even with those precise IR Pointer controls using a Wii Remote and Nunchuck. As a gaming platform it actually gave you a lot of freedom in most games and it was severely underrated. I hope you'll enjoy yours as much as I did mine.
