Bland combat is a problem? So Warriors isn't your cup of tea. A lot of poeple do like it. This is largely an issue with your personall taste, and not so much with the game.

The novelty wore off more than a decade ago though and now you’re left to hack and slash through the mindless ranks of cannon fodder in what, through the slow passage of time, has gone from state-of-the-art tech demo to embarrassingly primitive cash grab.
There’s actually a new graphics engine being used in Dynasty Warriors 8 but it only makes things worse. The visuals themselves are slightly better, but the game is now subject to crippling slowdown at seemingly random points of the game.
In terms of gameplay Dynasty Warriors has two main problems: the endless repetition of the story mode and the utter shallowness of the combat. This new game does nothing to address these issues, in fact the story mode is worse than usual with endlessly repetitive missions that seem to drag on forever.
It’s still a pretty ropey excuse for a video game, with bland visuals, barely localised presentation, and clunky controls....

Because obviously the fact that they keep releasing Warriors games in the West means that no one outside Japan gives a flip.
Surely one of the largest Japanese companies that consistantly reports profits and increased revenues knows nothing about business and keeps wasting its time bringing these games to the west.
And surely something that's sucessful in Japan has no merit because the multitude of fans that series has are simply ignortant of the terribleness of those games.
Dynasty Warriors is fine, megaman and pokemon have stuck with a if ain't broke don't fix it formula, nothing against changing things up either, but that sort of thing can also lead to RE6 and a FF franchise that's hard to get excited about nowadays, I'd take the mutton dressed as lamb Hyrule Warriors over those any day, since anyone looking at it clearly sees its Dynasty Warriors the idea someone is actually going to buy it expecting Zelda u is just silly.
The mark of a dedicated troll or viral astro-turfer is the ability to ignore everything everyone says that debunks him, and plows through with their agenda. They will even feign ignorance of very basic knowledge and become appallingly obtuse in order to do so...like pretending they don't know what TC means.

I'll remind the TC (TOPIC CREATOR ) once more of the early Super Mario 3D World footage footage shown at the E3 2013 direct. Remember how bland it looked and how everyone was so underwhelmed? Does anyone remember how everyone changed their mind at the second trailer shown in a later direct?

Finally, he says he thought it looked like 240p footage, but earlier in the thread he said he feared it looking the same or worse, he feared the "downgrade"...so I guess he thinks most Wii U games are less then 240p or worse?

True enough although I've been floating around the nets for longer than some people on this forum have probably been alive. I've never heard anyone use the term 'TC', at least not in this context. It was clear what was meant but the only term I've ever seen used in this way is OP. I assume because OP can be used to describe both the first post and the person who wrote it.
Unless internet terminology is evolving faster than I can keep up with. Maybe TC is the new OP because OP became OP for being able to point to both the OP AND the OP. But what happens when a thread is locked? "Sorry, TC because TC troll PP was OP in the OP"? Nope, I don't buy it, OP is the only term not TC.

Ugh....well if you must defend this insanity:
OP = original poster, generally the first person to post under an existing article
TC = topic creator, the person who creates the actual post itself on a forum where users can make their own topics
concern troll = A person who pretends to care about the topic being discussed, when in reality they are there to undermine and attack it unfairly
