Topic: MONSTER HUNTER 3 ULTIMATE!

I'm probably just going to get the 3DS version. I know both will be epic, but I already have Tri on Wii and I don't see the need to buy it again when I can play Tri on the Wii U. The 3DS version however will be with me forever and anywhere so I can actually progress...!

Yeah, uh... MHT has no where near the content of this game, you know. Actually MHT has the least amount of weapons/areas/monsters out of all the MH games.
^{except for the first game. But that was was extremely limited anyway and is almost unplayable now compared to the newer ones >_<}

To give an idea, MHT had 35 monsters total, counting minions. MHP3 has 60. MHTriG has 72.

If MHT is the most you've played, it would definitely be worth it to get MHTU on the Wii U.

I'll probably get it in the long run, but right now with my funds as low as they are, I'll be satisfied with MHT and MHTU for 3DS.

Sorry. I had to counter the excitement somehow. You'd think they announced MH4's localization or something with the way everyone is acting but no, it's just localization of a year old game that's pretty much MHP3 + water - yukumo - felynes on a nintendo and hey, we're porting it to the Wii U as well! We're not lazy at all, nope!

Yeah, I was hoping for a 4 localization over this.

Never played a MH game before, but I've always been interested, I hope I can get this on the day it releases, knowing my town though, I doubt I will..

So how does Monster hunter comopare to its silbling dragon's Dogma.

Phoenix Wright is more similar to Monster Hunter than Dragon's Dogma.

The PS3 version of Portable 3rd looked terrible, I hope this one actually has some effort put into it. And THANK YOU CAPCOM

Isn't dragons dogma a western flated monter hunter. Both seem similar in concept and the little I played of monter hunter felt similar to my time playing dragons dogma.

Well, you can walk around in both, and hit stuff with a sword. I guess that's something? Other than that, they're pretty much entirely different.

You have a really weird definition of 'crap' then. It looks much better than the PSP original. They HDified all the armors/weapons and the HUD... That was the goal, to give it a HD facelift, not completely remake it in HD.
