Topic: Super Mario Maker - OT

@Dezzy: I'm personally OK with it, but it seems some people are still making a big deal out of it. You start with a simple number of tools, and then work your way up for just a mere 9 days. Weird, yes. But no big deal.
I was really worried about how I could stark making very good use of the tools at first since there are tons of them, but limiting the tools on day 1 might just help me start real simple.

@NintyMan: But it prevents troll levels at launch though. I watched this IGN video and that user created level shown was fantastic, so easy to die just by trying to beat the level. That kind of thing was my dream for Super Mario Maker but I have to wait 9 days to get the tools I need to create a good level which is very disappointing. Also, the first week or so of online stages will just be 1-1 clones. Below is the video I watched by the way.

@VeeFlamesNL: I'll probably be pretty busy by then and only able to play during the weekends, hopefully two days a week. That means I have to wait at least a month before I can access all the content.

I wonder if you could trick the game, by changing the date on your calendar, so you can get all the content on day one?

@NintyMan: I wonder if they'll do an update to accommodate the Smash DLC amiibo. Would love to play Super Mario levels as Ryu.

I also take it that the Mii Fighter amiibo will only be compatible with Smash Bros.

You can apparently record your own sounds too. Hahahaha big mistake Nintendo.

It would be cool if using the Bowser amiibo not only allowed you to play as him but to change a Bowser enemy sprite into Mario that had the same properties but used fireballs instead of spitting fire, using a Bowser Jr amiibo let you use his enemy sprite as one of the Koopalings and using Wii Fit trainer unlocked charging Chuck as an enemy since he's sports related.

So I'm guessing the custom SFX levels won't be able to upload...lol

I dunno, watching GameXplain's video and they were talking about how Nintendo has given up on Smash's Miiverse stage, so...yeah. lol

@Rexcalibr: I don't think leaving YouTube comments is going to have any effect because Nintendo most likely won't see them. Plus, no one else is really pushing for the Koopalings. It'd be nice if they were in Super Mario Maker, I guess. But, it's not a big deal to me, personally.

Well, the Miiverse stage isn't available online as far as I know.

I hope they only block levels that have recorded stuff in it. I'd love to see creative levels with SFX and custom music. :3

Yeah they should definitely block recorded sounds. I guarantee I know some bad words they don't And I have the sense of humour of a delinquent school boy.

Or maybe you can share to friends only, I dunno.

Someone is going to put a giant Bowser inside a ? block. When you hit it, it's going to say:

People are going to make some really awesome music levels, I look forward to seeing them

Ready to see what the Automatic Mario creators will think of now with those blocks.

I'm going to record the Zelda "da da da da!" When someone opens up a question block with a link mushroom.

If only there was a way to access the Wii U's memory so we can insert our own audio files instead...I just know the SD card is for Wii Mode. Ah well. TwT
