The fact the the icons get smaller to fit in the new rows brings potential for another row and some hidden characters, but I wouldn't get my hopes up to be honest.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U & 3DS + All DLC
Mario Kart 8 + All DLC

The MK8 discs have apparently been manufactured now (which isn't too surprising, since reviewers probably should get their game copies by now). This weekend at a retro game event in Sweden, there will be a Super Mario competition. The winner will get the "first European copy" of a Platinum Wii U package with MK8 bundled, directly from the Swedish distributor of Nintendo. Charles Martinet will also be at that event, BTW.
So... kart or bike?
Now that they appear to be pretty balanced, it's going to be a difficult choice.
When I saw the original trailer I was slightly concerned that it could end up being Mario Bike 2, but as long as they're not completely superior to karts like last time I'm all for them.
As awesome and amazing that free game is, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed that we only got 4 different games to choose from. I already own all 4 of them. I know it probably won't happen, but I'm really hoping that NoA will allow us to have the same 10 choices that the UK gets.

Moral of the story? Don't buy every game Nintendo makes.
The game looks great except for one thing, the battle mode I mean who thought of having race tracks be arenas for battle mode? This will just lead to frustration because you will rarely see a single player because the arenas will be to big, and the whole arena is just a loop and it repeats. Who else thinks that adding race tracks to battle mode is a bad idea?
UPDATE: Bowser just ate some cake and it was yummy
I think it's too early to say without actually playing it.
Keep in mind that they've gone to the three lives then you're out approach from earlier Mario Kart games, so not coming across players as frequently might be a good thing, otherwise you could lose all your balloons really quickly.
I'm also interested to hear details about the online battle mode, if there is one.
Everyone assumes it'll be there, but we haven't really heard any confirmation of that as far as I know.
I'd imagine that if there is one, that it'd just be four players rather than eight or 12 to keep it from getting to hectic, but we'll have to wait and see.
So it seems that all videos uploaded to YouTube using Mario Kart TV will be automatically Content ID'd by Nintendo. What are your thoughts on this? I understand why Nintendo is doing it. I mean, it IS their content no matter what amount of editing goes into making it look cool. I don't agree with it but I see their point.
“A thing may be too sad to be believed or too wicked to be believed or too good to be believed; but it cannot be too absurd to be believed in this planet of frogs and elephants, of crocodiles and cuttle-fish.”
― G.K. Chesterton
As far as the Youtube thing, Nintendo has to "pay" for all those free games they are giving away somehow. Might as way make a little extra coin with one of your biggest games.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery

Nothing wrong with it at all. Their game, their service, they upload it for you. All you do is play. You do very little editing using tools they provide. Why should you get paid for it as well?
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
