So I've been recently thinking about purchasing a Wii U. But from what I hear it's a dying console. But in the other hand it has a lot of unique titles to offer that I love that the PS4 and Xbox One don't have. So I just thought I would ask to see other peoples opinion's on this. Should I purchase one or would I regret it if I do? Thanks guys!

I don't know. I can't say whether or not you would regret it or not since I'm not you. I'm very happy with my Wii U, but there are some that are not. Are you a fan of Nintendo games and indies? If you're interested in the games that the Wii U has currently or upcoming games, then sure. There's not really much third party support, so if you're really into those games... you might not want to get one since it looks like the Wii U won't be getting much third party support down the road. There may be some here and there, but I doubt there would be a lot of big third party games. Who knows.
I think it is worth it, especially if you are interested in experimental games. The games are there if you are willing to step outside a comfort zone and try new things. If you would rather get a specific type of experience through all your games, the PS4 and Xbox One might be more what you are looking for. But my recommendation is the Wii U.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I'd give it some more time, all the games you want are still unreleased.

Games like Super Smash Bros 4, Mario Kart 8, Mega Man battle network Blue and white version, X (Monolith Software), Mighty No. 9, Hyrule Warriors ect.
Well those are Wii U games, so it sounds like you should get a Wii U. The only point of regret that I could see for you is if those games turn out poorly, but that's probably not going to happen.
Ywa I'm think I'm going to get one but I'm thinking of waiting a little while longer to see how these upcoming games turn out. But Yea I doubt they will turn out poorly.

Can't really say it better than this. People whine and complain about the Wii U like it's the worst system ever. Personally, it's been one of my favorite consoles ever. It really comes down to preference.
I waited for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate to get released before I purchased my Wii U. If there is a game out that you want to play, and you can afford it, I'd say take the plunge and get one. I've, personally, enjoyed my Wii U since I got it. Absolutely no regrets. I don't understand all the Wii U hate.

Yea I've heard a lot of whining about the Wii U. That's what has made me think twice about buying one. But my brother owns an Xbox One and it's not really my cup of tea. I think the Wii U would be more my sort of thing.

Well, there you go. Lol. If you were to get one, you could get that MK8 bundle and take advantage of the Club Nintendo promotion thing where if you register MK8 before July 31 (?), then you can get one of the games listed for free digitally (EU and NA has different lists). You still have plenty of time to decide if you wanted a Wii U or not before that offer ends, if you wanted to take advantage of it that is.

Yea I might just do that. The more I hear the more I'm being convinced to buy a Wii U.

Even though all the games you listed aren't quite out yet (even though some are just around the corner), buying one now or getting the Mario Kart Bundle when it comes out is still worth it. Mario 3D land, Donkey Kong, and Wind Waker HD are all fantastic. And If you want to try something new I highly recommend The Wonderful 101. And Nintendo Land and Game and Wario are great muliplayer. The library may be a bit small, but the Quality of some of it's games are great.

Dying console? Oh please. Over the past 2 decades of gaming, I can assure you 1 thing; Nintendo rarely disappoints apart from the original Wii, that thing imho is garbage. Sales does not always equals to awesomeness...and Yes, I still think the virtual boy is awesome but badly executed.
The Wii U is going to do fine this generation. Maybe it won't dominate like they did in the 7th Gen, but the current line up is pretty promising. Yeah the hardware maybe weaker than it's competitors, but honestly I don't think it would be much of a difference. The games I own on my Wii U looks freaking stellar. So yeah the graphical gap is not as wide as you might have thought.
All the whining you heard, 99% of those people don't even own a Wii U. I don't know how it happened, but hating on the Wii U is what the "cool kids" do now. Almost all of us here love our Wii U.
Now if Nintendo give us analogue triggers, I'm pretty sure the Wii U will be my primary console for this gen and PS4 as secondary.
PS: From your numerous post it already looks like you're in love with the Wii U but need some assurance. Just go get it man, you'll enjoy the heck out of it.
