I got this game for Christmas and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm about to finish Legend Mode for the first time. Then I plan to go through it all again on Hard difficulty. I can see myself spending tons of hours on this game. I'm not that big into Zelda lore, but this game makes me want to learn more about it.
I am almost finished my first play through of the game and I am really surprised at home much I've loved it. I found Skyward Sword a bit on the samey and bloated side. This is the perfect way for me to reset before Zelda U is out.
I would love to see a Metroid Warriors game too. Can someone hook that up?

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I really wish I had more time to get into this one. From what I've played it's enjoyable but will still take me a bit to get used to running around the map with constantly changing objectives.

I appreciate the changing objectives - except that the changes don't really change based on how the player acts.
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't suggesting that aspect of the gameplay should be changed, it can be very dynamic and satisfying. I just wish I could give HW more of my time as I feel it's a game you really need to set some time aside for to really dig into, explore and uncover what it has to offer.
This is my problem with the game. I feel like I need to set aside a good 3 hour block or more to play and I just don't have the time which is why I haven't played it in about 2 months. I really want to play it but it's easier to flip open my 3ds for half an hour to an hour at a time.

One of the best things about the game is how you can sit down and play a level or two at a time.
For me, this is a game that really puts the phrase "practice makes perfect" into good use. When I first bought it on its release date, I was horrible at it! Just couldn't figure out how to do things right. But after playing it for some months, I've come to realize which tactics are best to use while playing, and become better and better at the gameplay. Nowadays I don't have to rush through the levels as fast as possible, in fear of failing a mission, but can take my time beating up captains, capturing keeps and collecting materials. It's almost relaxing, in a way, and very satisfying to see more and more of the map covered in blue. Some people complain that it's just a brainless button mashing game, but I wouldn't consider it that way; there's a lot of strategy involved on how to complete the stages in the most efficient way without losing. Can't wait until we get all four DLC packs, I'm going to wait until then and buy that fancy bundle including all of them.
So.. I came across my first Network Link today. I managed to snag a 5-star Magical Rod with 6 slots. It felt good! I want more Network Links. Still really enjoying this game. It keeps me invested.
Also, any tips on defeating a powered up Volga? I just can't seem to dodge him when he's on evil steroids. It's required for one of the Skulltulas in Legend Mode. I have to use Lana (currently Lvl.42) and the Deku Spear... I dislike that weapon a lot.
