Looks like my progress on the Twilight Princess adventure map has halted, Twilight rules with Zelda vs. challenge battle with underleveled Ruto or Darunia (the latter of which I don't have even level 2 weapon)
So this is easily my biggest surprise of the year. I was entirely expecting to find this whole experience to be meh, but I really enjoy it. It's not gonna be a game I look back at the same way as past 3D Zeldas obviously but as a spinoff game, it's really cool.

The Master Quest pack was released a few weeks earlier in Japan than the rest of the world so I wouldn't bank on the pre-order costumes be available simultaneously worldwide, but the Majora's Mask pack is scheduled in January so it wouldn't be a bad idea to squeeze something in by Christmas.
The new Zelda Wii U preview was impressive, hopefully there will be underwater exploration
Not the place to talk about this but no! I think going forward all underwater gameplay should be henceforth banned from every game made. Now you can have water, just don't make me swim and worse yet fight underwater.

Generally I'd agree but I really liked the underwater levels in Tropical Freeze except the World 4 boss.

Let me rephrase that, banned from all 3d gameplay. 2d works and in your example works well.

Played some more of the TP map and made some progress with ones which allow you to be Link though I do think to stand any chance of completing character specific squares I'd need to unlock their level 3 weapon so it's back to the main Adventure map for me (the one which was available from launch). As for the preorder DLC, as soon as it comes out I'll get it so I have all the DLC once the Ganon pack is released in February (assuming no more comes as season passes generally cover everything except retailer preorder DLC).
Yeah, I got the Link Amiibo 2 days ago and got another horse weapon yesterday. I've still barely played this game even though I've got about 40 hours on it. The only think I don't like is replaying levels to get necessary items for searches.
