So Mario Kart 8 had a great launch, and Nintendo killed it at E3. They definitely have everyone's attention now.
However what concerns me is that the next retail game Nintendo is releasing in the west is Phoenix Wright X Professor Layton for 3DS at the end of August and Hyrule Warriors in September.
That's a long time to ride hype, and I'm afraid the upcoming drought could kill it.

Isn't it the company's job to worry about the company or am I missing something here?
I honestly don't know. I guess it's just my inner Nintendo fanboy wanting them to do well. I guess if they do well, it means they have more resources to do things I like.

People can worry about a company. It happens all the time, especially in the video game industry. Remember when Atlus was in trouble? People went crazy.
If a company isn't successful, they cannot produce their goods. The goods, in this case, are Nintendo's beloved games.

the full wii sports club retail edition comes out july. it may not do much for you or i, but i don't belive we are the intended audience
Sonic Boom is for 2015.. isnt it? I think the best way to maintain the hype is to have a Nintendo direct in July/August that focuses on the games coming out THIS YEAR! not 2015! like everything were gonna have until December while announcing a new challenger for Smash.. and till then Mario Kart should keep the momentum going..

You've basically confirmed what I confirmed and what most people should be aware of: Certain individuals have pixelated b***rs for certain video game companies.
Again, why should any consumer be worried about a company's well being?

The only game on that list that's being released before September if Watch Dogs, and that's only if it doesn't get delayed again. Several are being released Oct/Nov/Dec, while the rest are 2015.
