Topic: disc to download save

I plan on trading in pikmin 3 to get wii play u, only because of the mario kart 8 free game. I was just making sure my game save would transfer to to a downloaded version.

On the WiiU, save files are... Kept on the WiiU, not the disc.

That means the file won't really care if you're playing with your disc, your friend's disc or a download, it will be there for you anyway.

Yes, on the same Wii U and as the same user the saved game should work even if you change from retail to eShop version, as long as you don't manually delete it.

Ok. Thanks for the quick replies. I knew it didn't save to the disc. Just wanted to make sure it would be compatible.
