@Kodeen
These console are built differently. Wii U runs software efficiently and effectively by recognizing data. Xbox One processes data.
Just imagine that Wii U's RAM is 2 boxes. Now imagine that Xbox One's RAM is 8 boxes. The 2 and 8 boxes take up the same ammount of space, and can be put in different places. This would mean that Wii U's 2 boxes can be in 2 different areas. The Xbox One's 8 boxes can be in 8 different areas.
See, so even if Wii U has 2GB of RAM, compared to 8GB, the way it's used isn't exactly the same. The Wii U's RAM is 2 places at once, and the Xbox One's RAM is in 8 places.
I would guess that Wii U's 2GB of RAM is to keep the CPU and GPU in check, and the Xbox One's RAM isto keep the 8 CPUs in check. If you look at it this way, the ammount of RAM that each one has meets the needs for transferable data, especially with 32MB of eDRAM.
They both have the same amount of eDRAM, that means that they're relatively the same ammount of data around between te RAM and other components. Depending on the setup of a console, it doesn't need as much RAM or whatever else, in comparison.
Go look at the GameCube, and compare it to the Xbox. The GameCube has half the specs of an Xbox, in some areas. Numbers don't always indicate power, and there's lenty of examples that proves this.
Even if the Xbox One is using 20% of its RAM to move texture data, that doesn't mean Wii U is using RAM to move texture data, at all.
The thing is not enough people would want it. Most of Final Fantasy's fanbase will probably already own a PS4 in anticipation for FF games anyway
But the question is if there are enough FFXV, Action RPG, or JRPG fans who own Wii U's but not PS4's or Xbox One's. Considering the lack of Action RPG's and JRPG's on the Wii U, I can't imagine it wouldn't sell. Plus, there has to be some Final Fantasy fans that own a Wii U but not a PS4 or Xbox One. With those facts all together, the game almost has to sell.
JRPG fans? Nope. They'll have PS4s
Also, your reasoning was simply "there has to be some Final Fantasy fans with Wii U". Those aren't really facts...
I'm a JRPG fan and I don't have a PS4, but I do have a Wii U. That's proof that there is a JRPG market on the Wii U.

Surely we should be demanding Kingdom Hearts 3 because the argument that a game like that wouldn't sell on the console is bull. It would fit so well with Nintendo's lineup. Even putting it on Xbox One where there are few fans of the title is a kick in the teeth.
@Metaknight_3Raw and @Jaz007 Square Enix won't even release the Kingdom Hearts HD remakes on a Xbox platform.... Square Enix likes to pretend like Kingdom Hearts is a Sony exclusive when its not. They released the games on Nintendo platforms because they knew that the Nintendo platforms was selling well. By selling the games on a Nintendo platform... THERE IS A LOYAL KINGDOM HEARTS FANBASE WITHIN NINTENDO!!!! Many 3DS owners bought Kingdom Hearts 3D! Many DS owners bought that Kindom Hearts game for DS!
And you know what? I bet if Kingdom Hearts 3 were to release on Wii U... I bet the sales for it would be higher than the sales for the game on Xbox One. The highest would be PS4. Second would be Wii U and last would be Xbox One.
I would like to take this argument and apply it to FFXV. There were also Final Fantasy games released on the DS (and the 3DS had Theatrhythm and Bravely Default) that created a loyal Final Fantasy fanbase with Nintendo.

Even when thinking about it real hard, I can't possibly see Square Enix going the extra mile to port FFXV to WiiU. They've become lazy quite some time ago, and FFXV is a rather big project. They'd have to rewrite quite the amount of code to accomodate for the WiiU's data structure alone. And even then, it would be nigh impossible to do in a reasonable time span without a concerning loss in quality, due to the WiiU not having been an option for Square Enix as of yet.
But aside of technical difficulties (which COULD be overcome with passion and determination, which Square Enix both lacks), I personally don't want to see it on WiiU. The characters look ugly (westernized grampsfaces), the gameplay is lame (more action and less brain functions), and tactical features have already gone missing after Lightning headshot them - just to shake her mammaries (I mean boob physics, if you didn't get it) in the 3rd entry of what is still the most unsuccessful chapter in the history of Final Fantasy games.
Soooo, no. Get that abomination away - until Square Enix looks back and realizes what they keep doing wrong, there's nothing positive I ca nsay about them - and no, Bravely Default doesn't count, since it was developed by Silicon Knights.
What exactly makes SE lazy?
If you look at both their social gaming project (which are far away from quality gaming) and the results of FFXIII (generic characters, shallow gameplay, unoriginal plot), they obviously try to make more money with less effort. Nothing of this is about quality anymore, it's mostly about appealing to the biggest consumer base - or, in other words, casual-ifying their projects for higher accessibility. That's one of the poorest things Square Enix could do, but instead of learning, they switch to cashing in on cheap remakes left and right (FFX HD, KH 1.5, FFVI iOS).
all of this adds up to the mess they have in front of themselves now. And considering the cheap marketing methods of both Lightning Returns (boob physics and outfits from other characters, since giving Lightning original stuff is too hard, huh?) and FFXV (graphics and including FFXIII VERSUS lead to undermine the cancellation of it), this is clearly lazy practice, since gameplay value has no talk in it.

@Oragami One or two people does not equal demand so you don't really have solid evidence either.
I have more than one or two people on this forum, and even so, this forum does not represent the entire Wii U community. It is unreasonable to think that there aren't other Wii U owners that want FFXV but don't own a PS4 or Xbox One.

Why don't you get behind this with the 59 other FF fans who want a Wii U version http://www.change.org/petitions/square-enix-put-kingdom-heart... just face facts even if 10000 or even 100000 people asked SE they still wouldn't port it because they probably wouldn't make their money back.

I just signed it, and I think the reason it has so few signatures is because it doesn't have much publicity. And sales numbers are usually higher than the amount of people who want a game beforehand.

There's no guarantee that everyone who singed it will buy though, in fact, it's very unlikely.

There's also no guarantee that everyone who has an Xbox One and PS4 will buy FFXV, either.
Guys, this game comes out in like 2016. Everything said today, may not make sense 2 years from now.
I suppose, but it looks a lot more likely. This is a game that appeals to dedicated video game players who buy 3rd party games, and it seems more of those are on the PS4 and Xbox One. The sales for Assassin's Creed 4 were about 10 times greater on PS4 than on Wii U, even though the Wii U has a larger install base at the moment, and Call of Duty: Ghosts sold at an even more disproportionate margin.
If you're a 3rd party publisher looking at this, it doesn't look likely to you that you'll have a big amount of support for the Wii U.
