Booting into Wii Mode - Wii U Forum

So every time I hold down "B" to boot my Wii U in Wii mode it says that it is going to do it, then the Wii U menu opens up and asks me to sign in to my Nintendo Network ID. This is silly seeing as now I still just have to start Wii Mode from the Wii U menu. Any help with this?

The wii u also switch to wii u menu if the TV isn't turned on. So holding Down B dosen't do a thing unless you have Your tv switched on
