The game is boxed with Digby and Isabelle and is priced at £49.99.
You can get bundles with 3 more amiibos in for £79.99-£82.99
The game and all 8 amiibos is £112.99!!!
I haven't got the money to put down for another 3 days, just hope some of these bundles last until then!
Considering that we were told that the game would be free to download on the eshop, I've essentially just paid £14.12 per amiibo, making them my most expensive amiibo to date....
@G0dlike: Apparently that was just a rumour and the game was never intended to be free. The Amazon bundle is pretty good: about £25 for the 5 Amiibo and about £10 for the game.
i hope to get this game at christmas. My kids would love this game. Especially my youngest son and my daughter. They both are crazy about animal crossing. It might be a family present for christmas. I already have Lottie amiibo pre-ordered.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
Doesn't really bother me that the game itself is not free. They're giving you 2 amiibos with the game anyway and Mario Party 10 only came with one.
I can't seem to find the game for £35 on Amazon, it's only showing the pre-order of Isabelle and Digby bundle at £39.85 and the amiibo packs are unavailable.
Got my eye on the Nintendo UK store's 5 amiibo bundle with KK Slider, Mabel and Cyrus myself
@the-madprofessor: I really don't mind tbh. I would have liked to just buy the Amiibo as I have no interest in the game, however I'm glad I've got my pre order placed and will definitely own these upon release
@RupeeClock: Nice, you're one of the lucky ones. I was nearly tempted by it but I thought I wouldn't need that many amiibos.
I hope the amiibos do get sold on their own eventually, would like to pick up the Tom Nook one as I had to effectively decide between him and KK Slider with the 8 pack sold out. KK Slider won the argument in the end though.
Just preordered the Bundle with Cyrus, KK Slider and Mabel in the last few hours, I can't risk that one selling out aswell!
I am at work and can't check, but has anyone looked in the eShop to see if a digital version was released for this? I know it wasn't on the weekly update but it could have been a mistake or something.

I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I saw the bundle at GameStop and the packaging was so pretty I was tempted to buy it instead of Yoshi's Woolly World... but I resisted. Apparently it comes with 5 total amiibo - 2 figurines and 3 cards. I admit I was down on this game when it was first revealed because I was disappointed that it wasn't a traditional Animal Crossing game, but I've become intrigued by this title. Maybe there's more than meets the eye? I don't think AC and a board game are necessarily incompatible. AC has a sort of cynicism and humor that might make for a good "slice of life" board game!

So the game is not available on the eShop. My Wife got the physical version and we played a game. It was pretty fun. The board game mechanics aren't as deep as Mario Party 10 but the Animal Crossing Charm is still there. I haven't done much of the other stuff yet, might get into that tomorrow. If you are an amiibo collector, then this might be worth it. It is difficult to recommend but I really enjoyed it and want to play it some more.

Ended up getting this mostly for the amiibo, but at some point I'll try the game out, just gotta find at least a couple others willing to try it with me.
Quick question: Are the events that occur at board spaces tied to the Amiibo you're playing with? In other words, will you see different events depending on which Amiibo you're playing with? Are there Tom Nook specific events, for example?

I am a little confused about what you mean by events. There are special events that happen every now and then, those aren't dependent on what characters you play as. If you mean the "events" that happen after you land on a space, then that will be tied to the character that lands on that space.

So, did anyone else notice that Nintendo did not send out review copies for this game? The game's been out for a couple days and there are less than 3 reviews online.
Did Nintendo knew this game would be bad? That's the only reason to explain the lack of review copies. Bad reviews on day one = poor sales. People are still going to buy it for the exclusive amiibo, though.
I'M NOT FLAT ON MY FEET, NOW I CLANK AND I SQUEAK
BUT MY VOICE IS THE SAME WHEN I SPEAK
MY HAND LOOKS LIKE ALUMINIUM FOIL
DOES THIS MEAN THAT I NEED A TUNE UP AND A CHANGE OF OIL
I'm KirbyFanDL3 on Colors 3D.

Or it is the holiday season and there are more important releases for websites to review. But it could be the lack of review copies. Who knows.

There's crappier crap (or equal-to crap) that's out and been reviewed recently. They watch what the reactions are, so to brush this under the rug they probably are going to try and push it out there and move on immediately.
Nobody is happy about a game that plays itself with no challenges where you have to keep tapping amiibo over and over. It's like we got a taste of this with Amiibo Party from Mario Party 10. I hope they don't do this with a third series. I miss actual good party games enough that me and my friends brake out and play Wii Party U on my thing again.
