Saw a pic on Twitter, looks like it's gonna be actual SNES ports.
EDIT: Actually never mind, think that one was just a normal SNES.
EDIT2: Website says the Classic and Classic Pro are compatible.
@Grumblevolcano
I could understand that if they said, "20 classic games + 1 NEW release," or something along those lines. Instead it's just 20+1 games.
Why have preorders when you can have potential customers fight to the death in gladiatorial combat?
I shall be VICTORIOUS! Flawlessly of course.

Based on the new information, it seems the American one has one little door for each controller, that's actually better, since you don't need to leave the other one exposed when playing by yourself.
Odd that Nintendo valued more how the system looks without controllers plugged into the system, than trying to match the appearance of the original with controllers plugged into the system (i.e., how it's actually setup in our homes...).
I'd rather of seen exposed Classic Controller ports than what appears to potentially be a fragile cover that looks odd when opened with a controller plugged in.

I know that the truth has already been confirmed, but it was never going to be this.
Ignoring the confirmation from the start of Classic Controller support, we've already seen the system being held in someone's hand. So we know roughly how tiny it is.
Yet the "original" controller port replicas are in scale with the rest system, so it obviously was never going to be actual SuperNes connectors here. If they were originals, they'd dominate the front of this small system since they'd be well out of proportion with the rest of it.
For the price of one of these Club Nintendo controllers on Ebay, I'll not only get the SNES Mini but also two of same style controllers that can be used with Virtual Console downloads and various other Wii/Wii U games. So I'm very glad I never hit the buy button now.
I thought we might see USB connections so that these would be Switch compatible, so I'm very pleased that it worked out in my favor. By sticking with this controller standard, it also gives me hope that my Classic Controller collection might even be Switch compatible by the time I make that leap, such as via a USB hub like the Wii U got for GCN controllers.
