So, I've been looking at a few OEM refurbished 72 pin connectors for the NES on Ebay, but unsure if these are worth it or not to fix the occasional blinking light I get, despite all of my games being very clean. Any inputs regarding this are greatly appreciated!!

I did the swap once on my old unit and never had a problem again. If you use your NES often, or can’t because it happens so much, it’s definitely worth the 15-20 minutes.

@HobbitGamer Awesome!! I know what I'll do now, thank you for the response, and I'm going to get one of these soon!

@videogames4ever1 You could try and refurbish the existing one yourself. That's what I did.
The connectors, through wear and tear due the design of the NES, eventually stay stretched out farther than they are supposed to and don't make the connection to the cartridge, causing the blinking issue.
I took my connector out of the NES, pushed each connector back into where it's supposed to be to make the connection tight and put it back in. Only took a few mins and haven't had an issue since.
I also took the opportunity of it being out to clean it properly as well.

Got very good news regarding that. I found out that a retro game store I regularly visit actually provides this service with OEM 72 pins at $18, and definitely felt like I got my money's worth, as the refurb pins alone are like $11-12, and they're extremely reputable and a reasonable bunch! Not that I couldn't do it myself, but hey, $18 flat for all of that is darn amazing, and made sure to really clean the games I have well before inserting any of them into the pin connector to secure my purchase; definitely something I recommend anyone doing after replacing pins or deep cleaning them.
