Topic: I'm trying to recall a certain SNES game whose title escapes me.

It's not a famous SNES game, but from what I remember from the screen shots in Nintendo Power years ago, the title character was a somewhat feminine-looking blond (blonde?) man with a gun on some distant planet. It might be a woman, but I don't think it was. It is not Super Metroid. It looks like a platform-adventure game. It's bugging the heck out of me. I swear it's not a Metroid game because the character's head is not covered.
It probably is listed on GameFAQs, but so are thousands of others.

so far ive come up with nothing...this would make my first FAIL...

if you do a search for "list of snes games", you should get a wikipedia page that lists a whole bunch of games alphabeticaly.
this might help to jog your memory if you see the name of the game you`re trying to remember.

I looked at all of the Super Nintendo games that started with A, and found nothing. That means either it didn't start with A or it never came out on the Super Nintendo.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't based on a movie. When I try to think of the game's name, I come up with Aeon or Radion.
More details? I think some of the stages had a forest-type background.

No. The character has blond hair that reaches to at least the shoulders.

The only game I can think of with a woman with a gun is Alien 3.

i bet yer right...i helped someone find a game that he swore was for snes, but was for nes, and said it was a yellow sprite with 1 head, but it ended up being a blue sprite with 3 heads lol

I don't think the character is actually a woman, which is probably why I didn't take much interest in the game back then (just another male hero).

@SKTTR - it probably is Another World/Out of this World {EU/NA} that DrDaisy is trying to remember, but I can't be sure (either SNES Castlevania game is highly unlikely, though).

No, I'm pretty sure it was a sci-fi game or sorts, but it didn't use the vector graphics of Out of This World or Flashback. Maybe it was canceled. Whatever the case, it's really banging at my noggin. I do appreciate your help though.
Also, I've played Blackthorne and Warlock. It's neither one of those games. I don't want anyone here thinking I'm skipping over any of your posts.

If the Doctor could only remember some of the enemies or describe some of the stages it would really help....
