Doesn't sound like much but the first time I stepped on a bear trap in Resident Evil 4 and Leon screamed I had to change my pants. I didn't see it at all and it just caught me off guard.

Play Condemed with the lights off. The first level where your walking through the drug house and suddenly demon homeless people start poping up.

Also in Alan Wake (which I need to finish) when the Game goes twin Peaks style mind **** revealing that Wake's wife had been dead for some time and he was a mental patient in house for crazed artist. Also when you first meet Leroy and he tries to kill you.

Yep I agree to that although for me it was doubly as bad cause I was playing it late at night in the dark cause the wife was asleep. Once I stepped on that trap though we wasnt sleeping much longer.

Pretty much everything to do with Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem was creepy/scurry :yikes: Just look at the treatment Silicon Knights gave the opening Nintendo logo! Totally creepeeeh! D:

The hands that fall from the ceiling in Oot. In the 3DS version, they look so realistic! Yea, I squealed like a little girl when it jumped on me haha

This game terrified me as a kid.

Too bad it lost all it's creepy factor when I re-play it.

I don't play scary games much though. Scariest it gets for me is Metroid Prime.

Maniac Mansion when I was a kid. Weird Ed and Nurse Edna freaked me out.

During the first parts in Resident Evil 4, where you enter the Village, blasting my way through the infected Villagers, no sweat. Then I hear a chainsaw behind me, and this guy, THIS GUY just runs to me and kills me in the most gruesome manner possible, no warnings, no mercy, it was brutal and it was one of the first videogame moments that really shocked me. The game itself isn't survival horror, but wow, it does leave an impact to the players. No other videogame enemy can match this guy's shock value, not even the necromorphs from Dead Space.
