Someone at my school has it, he thinks it better than a 3DS. Then I informed that it was discontinued.

I got one only because I found it at a flea market in almost new condition for just 90 bucks. Its perfect for me because only 4 or 5 games on PSP actually interest me and they're all available for download. I have a normal PSP and have had one since near its launch but I never used it and wasn't willing to buy the games on UMD because I knew I would never make the effort to break them out. Having them on a slimmer system with all of them always on system makes it easier and makes me more willing to play it. It was a pretty good buy at just 90 dollars but I haven't really touched it in months....maybe I should pick up Patapon 3 again....nah, I couldn't do that...that would involve setting my 3DS down

There are three PSPGos in our household. They're awesome. I personally own two of them (one for each PSN account), and as someone who prefers downloadable games, the Go is brilliant. Brilliant screen, brilliant buttons, brilliant build quality.
PSP Go scared the BLEEP out of me because it showed me the gaming future without physical media has arrived. I'm just glad PSP Go's failure has at least delayed that inevitability a few years. Hopefully it showed the video game industry that the consumer wants something it can hold in it's hand for it's money, that won't go away with new systems or policies.

I think the oodles of money Steam's making already disproves that.

Hadn't thought of that. Well, there goes that ray of sunlight (sigh). Oh well, not like I have much storage space left for my games anyway unless I get a bigger box, um I mean shelf!
The Go was only $250. I picked up the three of them (the third was a present for my better half) over the course of 3-4 months. For people with full time jobs, $250 is a luxury, but not an overly expensive luxury.
@chronicler: For one thing, that could just be his opinion, he would need no facts. For another, I think he was kidding.
But there is a difference between fact and opinion. He said "Vita is crap compared to psp go!!!!" so he's stating it as a cold, hard fact. If he said "Gooday, I do rather believe that the Vita is a pile of steaming crumpet excrement when looked at in comparison to the bloody good PSPgo" then it would be an opinion /de-railing
Heisenberg says "relax!"
