Topic: THQ Franchises you want to be saved?

With THQ on the brink of bankruptcy, what franchises and/or games would you liked to be saved from the fire before THQ go bust?

Darksiders
Saints Row
Warhammer 40,000 (although I suppose Games Workshop would just sell the rights to another developer if THQ goes under)

What do you mean saved from the fire. Most companies who are interested in these ip's would wait for the company to go under beofre purchase.

The WWE will go to EA.
Microsoft has been on a spree building up studios so I could see them picking up Vigil Games as well Volition. Also I wouldn't be surprised if they pick up igatakis game.
Nintendo could go and grab some guys two. The darksiders guys seem like a no brainer as well S picking up de blobs and giving it to intelligent systems.

Its really the only IP I really care about that THQ does.

They would probably go with EA since that is who did the MMORPG Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.

THQ has supposedly been on the brink of death for months and months now. It's in a tight spot, but no, it's not over.

As such this is a pointless hypothetical.

Months? Try years...I found threads like this dating as far back as 2009.

THQ had to go recently through a reverse stock split in order not to be delisted from Nasdaq. It's not a good situation, unfortunately. Looking forward to Darksiders on Wii U, definitely.

Well, THQ started out as essentially a spiritual sequel to LJN. Once they decided to ween themselves off shovelware, maybe they tried to go too fast?

Saints Row is pretty much the only THQ franchise I can think of that I'd really miss. Somebody else would just pick up the WWE license and maybe do a better job.
