I agree with you totally there. I'm glad I picked it up a bit late and got it on sale or the length probably would have bothered me more.

I have 3 tags but the one I game online with the most is Feral Critter. The others I just use for offline gaming and achievement grinding. Sad, I know.

Definitely. I actually borrowed from a friend (translation: cost=$0), and after i finished it i thought the same sort of thing — that i probably would have been harsher on it if i had bought it when it first came out like i had originally intended.

I also had the same thoughts on Conviction. Actually, I didn't like some of the levels as much either. They all felt pretty linear whereas there was always a level or two where you had a bit more freedom. I'll have to replay it sometime. I played a bit of multiplayer with a friend for half an hour. Seems like it could be good fun, but a bit meh. Wish it had that vs mode from Chaos Theory. Actually, the coop in Chaos Theory had a lot more nifty gadgets from what I remember.

@WolfRamHeart: Yeah I got addicted to that game a while back, I never was able to beat every stage though, those last 5 are hellishly hard. I think I beat one or two of them though.

@Slappy: Yeah feel free to add me. I'll probably hook up my 360 again soon as my Tiger Woods partner is about to be graduating.

@Josh... yeah do. The more people that have Trials HD, the more records I've got to break!

Can't stop playing Trials HD! I try to stop, but I just can't. I've put 2 hours into the second Expert stage and can't get through one little section. This game makes my hard-core gaming rage pump like crazy. My breaks from this one level only continue to get fueled by gaining Golds in the other levels.

Oh, if anyone wants to try to take my record. The Skills level Ski Jump, I acquired a Platinum Trophy in it, and I dare someone to try to beat my record.

Oh man, Trials HD. That game stole so many hours of my life when it came out.....

Normally I'm not a big fan of replaying levels in a game over and over again to get it perfect, but something about it just sucked me in. Same thing with Super Meat Boy.

@Fox... speaking of Super Meat Boy, the controls are so much better on 360. I think that once I finish up what I've already got I'll be buying it once again.

I got to the very end of the last Extreme level on Trials HD! Only need to finish it and then the Endurance and I'll have all the achievements — minus the DLC which I will be buying as well!

Has anyone played Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, and what did you think of it? I am debating on getting since it is on sale this week.

I got Mortal Kombat last weekend. It is alright, but it isn't nearly as good as MvsC3 or SSFIV. I also wish the 360 got an exclusive character, but hey, at least we got Avatars in the King of the Hill lobby...Totally makes up for the lack of Kratos.

I went to a friends and played Reach. The whole time I was like, "I want mai Mote control back!"

It's a good game for sure, but if you plan on going solo I strongly recommend trying the demo. Playing with friends is optimal.

Yeah, It would have been nice if we had gotten a replacement (Marcus Phoenix, maybe?) but I enjoyed it regardless.

OK, Newbie question here as the Marketplace has changed drastically on me. How the crap do you know what is on sale? One would think that there would be some tab that stated this, but I've yet to find any.

Slapshot: There is usually a window box under the game market tab titled Deals and I think it has a purple background (although the background may change from week to week), or the one tab with all the lastest news (I forget the name of it, lol).

@slapshot82: You can find the Deals of the Week usually located in the Spotlight section on the Xbox Dashboard menu. You will see a tab that says "sales & special offers". This week's deals are Castlevania themed; Harmony of Despair, Symphony of the Night and the HoD add-on stages are all half-off. Deal of the Week is updated every Tuesday and new XBLA games show up on Wednesday.

Slapshot, you can also check out Larry Hyrb's (Major Nelson) web site for a pretty awesome list of the Deals. A google for "Major Nelson" should bring it right up. I've seen him talk about some additional discounts that weren't obviously indicated on the Dashboard.

Splinter Cell Conviction, well I've now almost beaten it the first time and I'm really impressed with the game. It at first seemed way different than previous titles, but the stealth elements are still intact, but this time around Sam is just really pissed off - that is an understatement too! I like the using the environments and stealth together to take down loads of enemies. It is a fun change of pace, and a great story line as well. The co-op options are really fun as well. Graphically a little disappointing, but otherwise it's a great $20 investment! I'm going to snag Double Agent to get my old-school fix on as well too!

Glad you enjoyed Conviction! Can't really say anything about Double Agent, as I never got around to picking that one up.

@Fox...It's definitely different, but sometimes change isn't a bad thing. I almost said screw it after the first level as it wasn't what I expected, but I'm glad I didn't. After understanding what the game was about and that the Executions can only be done if a melee attack is performed prior to gain the ability. Going in for the stealth kill and then setting up a 3-4 person Execute perfectly is awesome!

Oh, I did a survey today from Sony and landed a $10 Amazon gift card, so I bought Gears of War double pack for $17. Yeah I know, so wrong to get a gift card from Sony and spend it on Microsoft, but oh well!

Apparently, Microsoft is sending out early developer debug consoles for it's next gen system. I really need to get a 360 to catch up on the exclusives before the new console comes out.
