According to the game spcs this is what you need: OpenGL 2.0 and shader model 3 with 128 MB of memory; ATI Radeon X1300 or nVidia GeForce 6000 series If your card is not opengl 2.0 I'm afraid you won't be able to play it in your laptop.
@Terra Your graphics card is an integrated chip on a laptop, correct? BIT.TRIP BEAT may not work. It requires a fairly powerful and recent graphics card - usually ones included in desktops. I hope it works for you, but that error may continue even after you update your graphics card's drivers.
Well tell me some equivalently priced games ($2?) and I might consider trading. I'm not so sure about NyxQuest though. The WiiWare demo didn't impress me.
So I've come to the conclusion now that the game won't work on this laptop. This is really bloody annoying but at least there are other computers I have frequent access to.
You can always trust Can You Run It? well, most of the time anyway. BTW, I sent you the game, the problem was on Steam's end. Surprisingly, they acknowledged it and replied fast.

Yeah, there's no special page on Steam right now. It's gone back to the normal storefront. I guess it takes a bit for them to put up the new deals and artwork.

LOL they're up, but a lot of the games are -0% discount! WHOO!
Yeah it's just time they needed to put the changes in place.
Games on sale:
Mount & Blade: Warband
Splinter Cell: Conviction
The Ball
Street Fighter IV
World of Goo
Patrician IV
The Orange Box
BIT.TRIP BEAT
Looks like BEAT fans are getting what they wanted. It's 50% off, $4.99... which was the price of the Indie Pulse Pack yesterday. FYI you can still buy the Pulse Pack for the offer price here: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6788/ This pack will disappear by tomorrow so I'd suggest snapping it up instead of BEAT on its own.

How about World Of Goo or a couple of Defense Grid packs? If you like platformers then it's an obvious choice, if not, well, I understand why you didn't like it.
