Oh, did they update SSF2? I'll have to go check it out. It's great because I get to use Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia who would never be in a real Smash game.

I'm not entirely sure either. He has a chance, but they'd have to open the floodgates to third-party characters and Namco would have to ask for him to be put in. I don't really see that happening, but hey, ask me ten years ago if Sonic and Mario would be in the same game, I'da said nope. So lots of things are possible.
An unrelated note: I'd love to see Kratos get in over Lloyd. Kratos was pure, unfiltered awesomesauce voiced by Cam Clarke. SUPER LIGHTNING BLADE!
