Topic: Skyrim or Skyward Sword

There are just to many good games comming out all at once. Im just curious if you can only get one, which will it be and why?

I would have to go with Skyrim. The new game engine looks phenominal. The changes to the game system are impressive. I also think ill get more playtime for the price with Skyrim.

Skyrim of course.

I take it getting both is not an answer because if two equally uninteresting items were to touch it would create a giant black hole of boredom that would bring a sleepy but swift end to the entire planet?

I hadn't heard of Skyrim, the screens i found on google look good.

There's about as much point to asking this question as "Call of Duty or Just Dance 3."

Skyrim and Skyward Sword are so completely different games that there's no way we can provide a reliable suggestion.

I don't think he is comparing them, he just want to know what would you do in the hypothetical situation where you have enough money for only one and find both much wanted games in the same store, probably being unable to buy the other one after a season of two after that.

I could apply the same question for, say, Pokemon something edition and Harvest Moon random edition.

However i think the question may be more suitable for a games recommendation thread.

But then again, i tend to overthink everything.

Eh. Zelda is kind of an exception for me. Any other game, I'd be able to weigh against Skyrim and give an honest opinion, but I will always buy the new Zelda game so Skyrim loses.

Skyword Sword looks really good and I definitely want that game.

However, as for Skyrim, I still need to play Oblivion, which is just sitting in my Steam backlog, like the dozen of other games...

Just Dance 3 > everything.

I know your good at overthinking and analyzing, but it was just a for fun question. Life isnt always as serious as ya make it.

I do plan on getting both, just seeing where the community stood when it came down to not having the option of getting both.

Does everything include GaGa?

Skyrim, Bethesda has given me a lot of fun and hours put into games. I invest pretty much 50 hours into each of their games, loads of fun, Skyward Sword is awesome, but lets face it, the first time you saw the dragons in Skyrim followed by the dude summoning a freaking storm, you know you wanted it. I still need to play some of Oblivion, but I'd rather pay $60 for something I'll easily play through multiple times with different results then the same game over and over again.
